This has been exciting to see this fall. Every AB is now a must see experience with @GusSteve20 . He won’t stop working until he gets the results he wants, and he’s not done yet! Our guy behind the plate will be one to revisit this spring.
The biggest offensive improvement this fall was from @GusSteve20 . Complete retooling of the swing, now driving the ball for power. If you saw him this summer, watch these clips for the new swing. You might change your mind. Hard work wins. @PG_Uncommitted

This ESPN Article is...just fantastic.

I’m really excited to see him continue to develop. There’s so much more to come. Competitor, leader, the guy you want for your culture. Make sure you don’t pass up @Walkertaulbee8 .
Solid day ones both sides for @Walkertaulbee8 today! That left side ball just gets in you so fast, and then he drops that 12/6 and there’s nothing you can do. Dynamic player you should be following. #devineboys @PG_Uncommitted
Heck yes @bubbacoleman6 ! Keep going!
Rob Vaughn on freshman Bubba Coleman, who went 2-for-3 tonight, with a home run and four RBIs:
"Bubba can hit, man. He can really, really hit, and he's always hit. That guy's played more baseball than maybe any of these young freshmen coming in. I mean, he just loves playing, you know? And he's had some ups and downs defensively this fall, but he swung the bat really well in the fall. It was just good to see him, man, like he gets in there, takes three really, really good swings, long at-bats, competed, took some pitches, fouled off some pitches. And then got three mistakes, really, and punished all three of them. So, man I've loved that kid since we saw him play two years ago, and he just loves playing baseball. And he's gonna keep getting better on the defense side. He can kind of play all three, where he's probably most comfortable at shortstop because he's played so much baseball there. But we're kind of asking him to play second, to play third, to play short, move around. And he has the ability to do that, but that bat is gonna play and work its way in. So he's going to keep getting better. He's been great."
I now have to spend time helping my guys determine if DMs are from real or fake coaches accounts. We’ve talked about it, and the guys have good intuition. They ask before just sending personal info out onto the mean streets of the inter-webs. Just one more hoop to jump through.
Just keep going!
Somewhere this morning, there's a high school baseball player getting ready for school.
He's checked his phone a hundred times this week, hoping a college coach might reach out.
Nothing.
No offers. No big recruiting headlines. No guarantees that any of this will work out.
But after school today, he'll head right back to the cage, the weight room, or the field.
Because he still believes.
And maybe that's the part of this game we don't celebrate enough.
The kids who keep showing up when the world hasn't given them a single reason to believe they're next.
If that's you, keep going.
Your story is still being written. ⚾️
Looks like we are shaping up to have a dual threat on the mound with our 2030 class. If Tradd doesn’t get you from the right, @LVGarrett07 will get you from the left. Just see for yourself.
Easy to dream to dream on the ceiling for 2030 LHP/OF Levi Garrett.

Michigan State psychiatrist Lionel Rosen changed Nick Saban’s career 🔥
Before facing No. 1 Ohio State in 1998, Saban didn’t even think the Spartans had a chance.
He called Rosen for advice, and the message was simple: take it play by play, ignore the scoreboard, and focus on the next six seconds.
Six seconds of hell.
Michigan State pulled off the upset, winning 28-24 in one of the most memorable moments in program history.
And here’s the crazy part: Lionel Rosen is still working at Michigan State today. 👀
Saban’s coaching record since the win: 259-49. 🐐

Coach Saban's relationship with Miss Terry fascinates me.
The greatest coach to ever exist and he had the humility to put his ego aside and actually listen to her when she would offer him constructive criticism.
Do people realize how rare that is in society?
Nick Saban says he complained about how the media made him look like a bad guy until his wife asked if he’d ever watched his own press conferences
“I used to come home and complain about it. I would say, ‘I don’t understand why I’m being sort of depicted this way when that’s not really who I am.’ And she said, ‘Do you ever watch yourself?’”
“I said, ‘No.’ She said, Well, it comes from your press conferences. You know, you’re anxious. You don’t treat these people with much respect. You don’t have any relationships with them. You never smile…”
“You never joke. You never make people feel a part of what you’re trying to do or respect what they’re trying to do, which is to promote your sport. So, what do you expect?”
“And it really, really pissed me off that she said that because I didn’t realize that, but she was right.”
Knowing the work he’s putting in this fall and winter, @JohnJang0404 is going to rocket to the top of your lists this summer. He’s an OF with the physicality to play IF as well. Versatile with this kind of pop? Oh boy.
How about a 6-6 day from @JohnJang0404 today for Devine 17U! The simple swing mechanics and bat speed deposited them well into the outfield with 3 2B. He’s putting in work to get stronger and faster…write his name down for the summer. #devineboys
They are back and ready to get after it tomorrow, rain or shine!
Devine 17U is back tomorrow for a pair at Dawson County High School. Bring an umbrella and come see the #devineboys.

A message from every professional baseball scout to every high school and college potential baseball prospect.
We're always watching!
EVERY. SINGLE. LOOK.
Pregame work. I/O. BP. Bullpens. Intrasquads. Scrimmages and regular season games. Every one of those is a look — and every look is being written down.
How you run to first base… or do you run to first base. How you move on the field and off the field. How you throw between innings. How you take BP when you think no scout is watching. How you execute pitches in a side session or between innings warming up. How you handle or process a poor at bat. Whether you’re coachable or whether you’re not. And how you treat your teammates.
First one on the field?
Last one off the field?
It’s ALL being noted.
All of it.
Get to the Big Leagues first—before trying to act like those in the TV league. You’re not.
Scouts aren't just evaluating your tools. We're evaluating everything: your habits, your effort, your work ethic, and your character. The player who gives effort every rep stands out — because so few do it consistently.
Newsflash…Scouts don’t care about your “ranking” or what publications write about you (positive or negative). Scouts don’t care how much NIL money you’re getting, or if you’re getting any at all. We’ll make our own evaluations and our own decisions.
Be intentional. Play hard. No matter the setting, the score, the competition or who's in the stands. When you don't, you're only hurting yourself, and you’re to blame.
There is not much you can control in this game — but the one thing you can control is your effort, your work ethic, and your hustle.
Because when you least expect it, someone is ALWAYS watching, and you never know which look is the one that matters.
Winners Win!
Make. Every. Look. Count.

David Wright explains how to identify a selfish teammate
“To me, that’s what shows everybody what you’re made of. Anybody can smile and have a good time and enjoy the game when things are going their way and you’re having success.”
“But it takes a special person to be a good teammate. To be the first one to high-five the guy when they do something good, even though you’ve had three strikeouts that game.”
“What face do you put on in the locker room when you got four hits and the team lost compared to when you went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts and the team won? Happy-hit guy. Happy-hit guy is a term that we use to this day.”
“I think that differentiates between the true great teammates and the winners and the guys that are out there trying to do it for themselves. It’s just dealing with failures, dealing with adversity, and it’s a small sample size of what you’re going to get in real life.”

Earlier in the season, Brewer manager Pat Murphy pulled rookie Cooper Pratt for not fully running out a hit.
Tonight, Murph pulled veteran William Contreras for not running out a ball to first.

This is why, in the end, you just need a place to start. Find someone who believes in you and don’t stop chasing your dreams.
Bo Davidson just became the first Giant since 1931 to have a hit, stolen base and run scored in their big league debut.
3 years ago Davidson was playing in community college. He didn’t have any offers out of high school, played for 2 community colleges and took a year off in between due to a family matter, he went undrafted before being discovered by a Giants scout and signed to a minor league contract. Never give up on your dreams kids. #sfgiants @NBCSGiants
No one stuck to his plan and reached for his goals like @BrandonFox08 . Hard work pays off! Congratulations!
