@IRCTCofficial Just wanted to know why is it mandatory to give statements in written for any incident?
Just to give a gist of the event:
There were few people playing loud music in train.
One of the nearby passenger complained and TC gave them warning.

The boy then said stop showing your police card and it almost turned into a verbal abuse.
Well donโt wanted to spoil the boys career so we didnโt asked the TC to take leagal action but.
The fellow passenger doesnโt want to give a written statement.

The reason is it will involve too much time to proceed with the legal proceedings canโt the process be simplified?
Thanks in advance if the process is simplified in near future.
(Update) After the incident for now the situation is normalised.

After everything was settled one of the people involved came to my Dad and asked in arrogant tune why he pointed them out.
To which my dad said, โHe him self is a police officer and could have complained himselfโ.
