My life changed today
If someone told me I'd be doing this a year ago, I wouldn't believe it but today?
When I saw that payment notification?
I realised the power of the journey that lies ahead of me
"Can't thank you enough for this!"
These were my clients exact words
Words from a language training business I worked with recently
I worked with them to:
ā¢ Identify their unique process
ā¢ Revamp the copy on their website
ā¢ Retain their voice and personality in the copy
They're happy.
They love the work.
I enjoyed the experience.
This is just the beginning of my career as a copywriter but I have gone about it a little differently than the advice I see here
I didn't engage with 100 accounts a day
I didn't send cold DMs like the brocolli bros
Money wasn't my focus (I didn't want another trap)
My main goal was to ensure that I work with people I like, projects that interest me and no b.s. from the client
It's a relatively slow path
It's not a 10k/month in 30 days scheme
It's about building the life I want doing the things I want
In the midst of it all I'm grateful for the different people I learn from
It began with @GrammarHippy and his community
(I had no clue about copywriting until then)
I was inspired by the way @AndrewWriteCopy approached copy - a proper student of the craft
and most importantly...
I realised it was possible thanks to people like @ItsKieranDrew
I learned a little bit from everyone and there are too many people to name but this is going to be a fun ride :)

Sure, if you don't know what to write
Sure, if you're sending bulk cold emails using AI
But, when you know how to do it right (and work with someone who has made sales from the tiniest list ever?) that changes
5 things you can do instantly to get into a positive state of mind:
1. Drink water
2. Take a shower
3. Wash your dishes
4. Clear your desk / table
5. Brew coffee without your phone
This takes 10 minutes at most and clears mental clutter.

Underrated copy tip:
If you love a product so much that you tell everyone about it, pay attention to the language you use and the benefits that product brings into your life
Use that as your copy instead of listing out dry details
Not only will it sell much better, people will believe you. Energy transfer is real and you sound like a human being.

This is my sign
My girlfriend has been posting running content on Instagram and TikTok for the past few months. Still a pretty small account.
She recently posted a review of the ASICS Megablast, and someone from ASICS reached out asking for her mailing address.
We got home from our run today to a massive box on our doorstep.
FIVE pairs of shoes. Including a pair of Metaspeed Edge Tokyos in a colorway Iāve never even seen before.
Sheās been so consistent with posting, and Iām just ridiculously happy for her.
How cool is that?

It's genuinely the most exciting AI tool I've used. I signed up for the pro version in less than a day and this is coming from someone who never bothered to use the chatgpt or claude version
