Dr. John Calhoun did a "Rat Utopia" study in the 40's/50's where generations of rats had unlimited food & water, no predators & no survival struggles. In my basic summary the rat society became self destructive, did not mate, became hyper agressive, etc. They all died
Elon Musk tells Joe Rogan AI is a "supersonic tsunami" for jobs, and that work will become optional.
Joe Rogan: What's the solution to the jobs lost to AI and robotics? Universal basic income? A lot of people are going to be out of work.
Elon Musk: I think there will be high demand for jobs, just not the same jobs. This has happened throughout modern history. There used to be buildings full of people called computers, doing calculations by hand with pencil and paper. When digital computers arrived, that job disappeared and people had to do something else. That's happening now at an accelerated rate with AI and robotics. AI is the supersonic tsunami.
Joe: What jobs are left?
Elon: Anything physical, like welding, electrical work, plumbing, cooking, farming, will last much longer. Anything digital, where someone is just at a computer, AI will take those jobs like lightning, just like digital computers took the job of doing calculations by hand, but much faster.
Joe: Drivers, longshoremen, truckers. And so many desk jobs where people are just processing email or answering the phone.
Elon: Those are being eliminated at a very rapid pace. Ultimately, working will be optional, because you'll have robots plus AI. In a benign scenario, we get universal high income, not just basic income. Anyone can have any products or services they want. But there will be a lot of trauma and disruption along the way.
Joe: So we'd essentially eliminate poverty?
Elon: In the benign scenario, yes. There are multiple scenarios, and a lot of ways this movie can end. The Terminator scenario is not 0%, which is why I keep pushing for AI to be maximally truth-seeking.
Joe: What about meaning? It gets weird if no one ever has to work.
Elon: I don't know how to answer the question about meaning. It will be an individual problem for millions of people. But the benign scenario is sustainable abundance. We haven't paved the rainforest, the national parks are still there, and everyone has excellent medical care and whatever goods and services they want. We'd have to rewire how people approach life, and hopefully people can find meaning that isn't derived from work.
The job losses are already happening. The universal high income is only the benign scenario.

We told you this was coming and now Ofcom have openly admitted it. Banning u16’s from social media can ONLY be achieved by making everyone, ALL adults prove their identity. This was obvious from the outset. And it’s only a small step from there to monitor which sites, information and data people access and another small jump from there to ban and censor people from sites they don’t want you to access or use.

More than 153,000 international students were flagged for not complying with their study permits. IRCC only had the money and capacity to look at about 4,000 of them. Of the 800 cases where they found outright fraud or fake documents, most people simply applied for the next status—work permits, permanent residence, asylum—and a large share got approved. No systematic enforcement. That is not an accident. It is a system built for volume first and verification later, if at all.
Canadians pay for the hotels, the modular units, the infrastructure, and the services while the same pathways keep moving people forward. Youth unemployment stays elevated, growth forecasts keep getting cut, and the permanent-residence door just got easier for high-wage offers by dropping the LMIA labour-market test. The temporary numbers get cleaned up on paper. The fraud and the housing pressure stay.
Mark Carney and the Liberals inherited Trudeau’s surge and chose management over reversal. I have nine grandchildren who will inherit the housing costs, the trust deficit, and the weaker labour market this creates. When the Auditor General documents that fraud cases are flagged by the tens of thousands and then mostly ignored so people can stay, the priority is clear. Tighten the system: real capacity for compliance checks, automatic flags that stop progression, labour-market tests that cannot be waived, and numbers that do not outrun housing and jobs. Or admit the model is open intake with under-enforcement and stop pretending Canadians come first. Zero trust left.

- Muslim full-face coverings are restricted for staff and students in daycares, public colleges and universities
- Designated prayer rooms in universities and public community colleges are now banned
- Daycare workers at subsidized centers are now prohibited from wearing religious symbols, particularly the hijab
- Public institutions cannot offer exclusively religion-based diets like only halal

A growing coalition of Canadian and international scientists, physicians, and researchers have formally demanded an immediate halt and recall of COVID-19 mRNA injections, plus an independent public inquiry into their approval.
The open letter was first sent in March 2025 and resent in August 2026 after receiving no acknowledgment.
It flags issues such as residual plasmid DNA, aberrant protein production, IgG4 antibodies, cancer, and mortality.
The effort creates a clear record that officials were warned about the dangers and that qualified experts put their names to those warnings.

The Great Un-Karening has begun, and decades of cultural engineering have finally run into something their architects cannot fucking control: human nature.
A seven-year-old conquers El Capitan, breaking his older brother's record, and some sanctimonious busybody responds by reporting his father to Child Protective Services. Apparently, raising children capable of extraordinary achievements now qualifies as suspicious parenting.
And that tells you everything about the suffocating bullshit we've allowed to masquerade as progress.
For years, the helicopter-parenting crowd, DEI bureaucrats, ideological school administrators, and professional grievance merchants have worked to remake childhood in their own miserable image. Courage became recklessness. Masculinity became toxic. Independence became neglect. Every hurt feeling became an emergency, and every whining control freak acquired a fresh excuse to interfere.
They built entire systems around rewarding fragility, policing behavior, and teaching children to view the world through the narrow lens of identity, victimhood, and institutional permission.
And now the machinery is encountering resistance.
Kids are reportedly refusing school Pride Day activities. Parents are defending their children's right to adventure. Twenty to forty neighborhood kids organized their own nighttime pursuit game, complete with strategies, head starts, and a mile-long course. Some neighborhood hall monitor called security.
The kids kept playing.
Fucking beautiful.
There's the nightmare for the self-appointed guardians of acceptable behavior: children discovering they can organize their own lives without a diversity consultant, a school psychologist, or some miserable asshole clutching a rulebook.
And every independent decision chips away at the authority these people spent years accumulating.
The Karens can scream. The bureaucrats can threaten. The ideological busybodies can keep issuing commandments from their increasingly ridiculous little thrones.
The generation they expected to mold into obedient, perpetually offended dependents is discovering the exhilarating pleasure of telling them to piss off.
They tried to rewrite normalcy.
Now they're watching the next generation reclaim it without asking their fucking permission.
