Last year, Mongolia, this year Uzbekistan! Very grateful to be able to share my teaching experience with colleagues from different parts of the world. I'm now understanding how Mathematics is the purest of languages, one that is spoken international.

Grateful for the opportunity to share about my book RAGE at Drapers Primary School. We ended with a quiz and prizes. Copies of my book were left for the library. One of the characters was from Jamaica, a school, in my imagination, very much like Drapers. #Jamaica #reading4life

What you can do to support a young personโ€™s mental health โ€“ if you work or volunteer with them.
Be there with a listening ear. This might be enough for a young person. They might need nothing more than a regular, or occasional, check-in.

Keep curious. Keep an eye out for changes in their behaviour and more subtle pleas for help.

Create time to talk. Life gets busy and young people tell us they donโ€™t want to burden adults with how theyโ€™re feeling. Take time to slow down and be available for young people to turn to.

Afro styles will be protected by law against discrimination. My grandchildren (pictured) will be able to go to school and celebrate their hair rather than feel they have to defend it. Thanks to @worldafroday and @myah_sherae who've worked so hard to bring this about. #inclusion
