We could have avoided this result in 2024, but you all said DeSantis' boots were weird.

Incumbents since 1960 have been reelected 85% of the time - 90 to 98% in recent years. Most voters don’t pay attention. They go into the voting booth and figure, well I’m okay, maybe the incumbent is doing a good job. Better to vote for the incumbent than take a chance on someone else. But this time the gas pumps and grocery stores informed even those who don’t pay attention and they voted against the incumbents they thought were responsible.

Hi @AggrendWoW @TruskisPro , I was watching today's podcast and I have a burning question. The Intrepid Studios team was working on a server meshing/dynamic gridding tech that was the "solve" for layering. Is this possible or beneficial for WoW? youtube.com/watch?v=pdav0as5…

Grok Bot really needs iOS Connectors to really help Apple users actually have it handle day to day work. @poteto Is @Apple blocking it?

My @WARDOGS review after 28 hours played since release TLDR; Game is awesome, especially considering it’s only in the early stages. Well worth $40, gives you the “play like you used to with buddies growing up” feeling. Which was their goal. Pros: -Cash incentive system actually generates real team cohesion. It’s hard to play other games without it now. -Audio, especially artillery, guns, footsteps, building reverb -Optimization, runs very well with low input lag -Gunplay, predictable recoil patterns but a good bit of kick so it isn’t dominated by ARs. Gun damage is based on the round caliber not the weapon except for a few things like barrel length. -Sim-Cade (Not too Milsim not too Arcade) -Weapon Balancing -Vehicle balancing -Transparent Devs -Seasonal wipes keep things fresh. My understanding is level doesn’t wipe but persistent cash does. -Merit based unlocks instead of paid (getting a skin means you grinded for it) -Hit registration & net code -Sandbox (lets you play how you want and you still have impact and reward) -BF: Bad Company 2 style building destruction -Great class design/unlock system -Servers feel like a decently high tick rate -Joining friends via Steam works well, puts you in queue on their team and in their squad -VOIP works well nice and clear -Sniping is very fun and rewarding very similar to older Battlefields -Prox chat is the best -Never run into a cheater but I know there have been a few. Infection rate seems super low. Cons: -Lack of skill based ranks (rank is representative of time played; no I’m not talking about SBMM) -Maps have lots of unused space, they should make the Capture Zone and HQ positions rotate -Cloudy map variant looks washed out and is bleak to play -A couple ADS bugs where optics don’t have the proper visuals -No shoulder swap -Lack of option to change reticle color/type -Cannot clear a keybind, can only re-bind -No vote kick -Not enough incentive for people to push Hot Zone

This list is total crap. Put aside Trump at the top. Woodrow Wilson was one of the worst presidents in American history; FDR lengthened the Great Depression by eight years; Calvin Coolidge was awesome and Harding was fine; Grant oversaw reconstruction; and Ronald Reagan and Eisenhower apparently don't exist...

When Christians use the word “generosity” they mean “generosity with your own money.” When progressives use the word “generosity” they mean “voting for the government to forcibly redistribute other people’s money.”

Hi @tedcruz just listened to yesterday's Verdict, wanted to make you aware that the miscarriage study has been misread. The data from the study (the April 2021 New England Journal of Medicine analysis of CDC v-safe Pregnancy Registry data on mRNA vaccines) is being misread to claim roughly an 80–82% miscarriage rate. The study itself reported a 12.6% rate among completed pregnancies (104 spontaneous abortions out of 827), which falls within the typical background rate of about 10–20%. The 80% number is an invalid recalculation of the incomplete early data (excluding ~700 women vaccinated in the third trimester from the denominator while still counting early losses, producing something like 104/127 to get the ~80% number). Later follow-ups and larger analyses of the same registry and other data found rates in the normal range with no elevated risk from the vaccines. Fauci is absolutely wrong and should've warned the public as you stated on the podcast, but this 80% stat is not correct and we Conservatives should stop spreading it. @benshapiro covered this on his show on Tuesday, if you need more info I'd recommend chatting with him.

Ever wonder why so many AAA companies make games with woke characters and story? Here's something I've noticed at the places I've worked.. In the early/mid-2010s there was a shift to DEI hiring, where a company creates goals to prioritize/increase the percentage of female/poc employees (I think both the left and right acknowledge this was happening.) With this in mind, companies usually first inject the DEI hiring into "soft skill" departments. "Soft skills" are skills that are easy to fake competence but difficult to master, and more importantly, difficult to critique. 'Writing' is a soft skill. Most people think "I can write a novel, it's just a story that you write. I can open MS word and type. I'll write a novel.", when in fact it take a LONG TIME to become a good writer. The same goes for video game writing. 'Programming' is NOT a soft skill. You can't fake being a good programmer (or at least, not like you can fake being a good writer). Interviewing/evaluating programmers is (typically) a very refined technical process, b/c game dev is inherently technical. It's also incredibly risky to hire incompetent programmers. This will break/delay a game and cost millions of $ in lost revenue. It's also the case that soft skills attract more left leaning people, but I digress.. The end result: DEI hiring (usually) happens more in the soft skills, because it appears to studio leads to be the least risky department to "diversify". If you want to add diverse faces to your staff portfolio, this is a great place to do it w/o risking technical failures. Once entrenched, the woke aesthetics spread into other aspects of the game, by means of thought-policing and toxic positivity (a story for another time). This is why very often you'll see competent video games (runs well, looks decent, fun) but with "modern audience" writing. The game/studio then slowly transforms into a hollowed out shell of what it once was, as the competent right leaning and non-political devs check out. Again, I've seen this happen at the places I worked.

How many times must Candace, Tucker, etc be wrong for people to stop listening to them? It has to be exhausting trying to sort fact from fiction, unless you just blindly believe it all. They buy your trust with a bit of fact, then sell you the fiction without you noticing.

We should’ve flown jet sorties over all the 48 mainland state capitals and had a schedule for each state so people could watch. A good idea, just a bit late to suggest it. We can do it for the 300th with our anti-matter aircraft, Happy Birthday America!

Since the Senate needs 67 votes to remove a Supreme Court Justice, let's make a deal with the Democrats. If they join the Republicans to remove Ketanji Brown Jackson or Sonia Sotomayor, then we will join with them to remove Amy Coney Barrett or John Roberts. That's a fair trade, right?

I get that the SCOTUS is meant to be non-partisan, that's fine, sometimes interpreting the law goes against my priors. But why do the upsets always seem to favor one direction?

I noticed that there was no need for fences around the SCOTUS prior to the ruling. Interesting.

From 2012 by the way. He said it in 2005 while writing for Townhall as well.
Chief Justice Roberts was the worst part of the Bush legacy.

The birthright citizenship ruling by the Supreme Court today is just as inarguable as illegal immigrants voting in US elections. But now birthright citizenship just gives non-US citizens a codified legal precedent to have their votes count just as much as American citizens because under this decision they ARE American citizens. They can hire an American surrogate like Xu Bo did and have hundreds of “American citizen” children. Or they can go to Guam, under a 6 month travel visa while 3 months pregnant (avoiding heavily pregnant rejection), have a baby, and that baby is a US citizen and can be your next president in 35 years. Voting in elections starting at 18 years old. If a country is an area made up of citizens, and the population increasingly becomes non-citizens, then what are we even doing?

What would the WWII generation say about how we have squandered the countries they fought so hard for?
