WWIII or Christmas? Asking for a Friend.
Well, here we are in 2026, trying to decide whether to put money aside for Christmas presents or stock up for the possibility of World War III.
Between global tensions, politicians playing geopolitical poker with everyone else’s lives, inflation eating our paychecks, and Washington’s government spending money like a drunken sailor with someone else’s credit card, it’s getting a little difficult to plan ahead. Thanks Bobby!
Do I buy the grandkids presents, or invest in canned beans, bottled water, ammunition, and a generator?
Do I put up the Christmas tree, or reinforce the basement?
And should I bother wrapping presents, or just label everything in the pantry with expiration dates?
At this point, I’m not sure whether to watch for Santa Claus, incoming missiles, or another government stimulus package that somehow costs us twice as much as it gives us and never shows up? Coal anyone?
One thing is certain: I’m not going into debt preparing for Christmas AND the apocalypse.
If the world ends, Visa can take it up with the survivors.
Merry Christmas season, you magnificent bastards.

The FBI and our partners have arrested Luis Benítez Alcántara, a Mexican judge who allegedly accepted bribes and used his position to aid former FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitive Ryan Wedding and his associates.
Benítez Alcántara was a district judge in Mexico City who allegedly accepted $2 million in exchange for granting bond to and ordering the release of Wedding’s second in command, while Wedding was orchestrating a billion-dollar transnational criminal organization and the largest supplier of cocaine to Canada with connections in Colombia, Mexico, and the U.S.
Benítez Alcántara is charged with nine counts of accessory after the fact for assisting the individual in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment.

I've watched him for 11 years. Not claiming to be a human behavior expert. Just pattern recognition.
Leading up to 2020, he warned over and over that Democrats would steal it. When they did, he never shut up about it. Same with the Russia hoax. The impeachments. The Biden border. The lawfare. Loud. Every. Single. Time.
Last night Republicans lost the House, the Senate, Texas, Ohio and other red seats. An epic beatdown. Anybody with basic math skills can see the margins in deep red states don't add up.
And what did Trump do?
He congratulated them. On prime time. All day. Not one peep about cheating. Not even a hint.
That's odd.
I can count on one hand the times I've seen him this quiet. And it never ended well for his enemies.
An apex predator doesn't announce the strike. But if you know what to look for, the signs are there.
Calm before the storm.
