London’s 700-year-old bridge charity just handed £1.17 million to the Muslim Charities Forum. The treasurer at the time was also a trustee of Al-Khair the big Muslim aid charity now under a formal Charity Commission investigation over alleged Hamas links, with a connected figure facing US charges of material support to the group. MCF says the money never reached Al-Khair and the guy has stepped back. Fine. But this is a charity whose actual job is keeping London’s bridges standing. Instead it’s pouring surplus millions into “social justice” outfits while several Thames crossings are cracked, weight-limited, or shut to traffic.
