This big boi is Camelot. Latest addition to our @redpoll_cattle herd. Camelot is here to help us grow the herd, expand our conservation grazing programme into new areas, and perhaps help us make some organic, pasture-fed beef in the future. Welcome good sir!

Daily shifts gives me the confidence to graze re seeds with cattle rather than just sheep in first season. Including getting the cows to remove the redshank from the herbal ley. Both sown 22nd of May.

Back down the old lane, almost home for afternoon milking
The same cows are always at the front, and there’s always a few familiar bums at the back too 😊

Essex farmer Anna shows us how the cattle on her farm convert species-rich grassland into high-quality beef. Like a salad bar, the mix of grasses and clovers, provide the cows with nutrients they need whilst also being sustainable. #Farm24
