Looks like we finally have a Qwen competitor
If you have a 5090/3090/4090 or Mac this will be really strong
🚀Excited to announce Nanbeige4.3-33B!
To push the performance ceiling of small agents, our strategy in Nanbeige4.3 starts with building a powerful teacher first.
Nanbeige4.3-33B delivers SOTA agentic performance among open models at ~30B parameters:
* Strong results on agentic coding and cowork benchmarks.
* When integrated into mainstream agent harnesses, it tackles real-world tasks with cost-efficient inference.
* It will serve as a teacher for upcoming smaller Nanbeige models, starting with Nanbeige4.3-3B.

Curators/Art Historians get the last laugh because decades from now they will have the ultimate agency around how they choose to contextualize a collection. I said something like this many years ago, and I still feel the same way.

"Digital art resembles kinds of folk culture, and museums have always neglected folk culture, partly because they found it difficult to incorporate in their collections."

“They say love is blind. David sees everything.” - OONA
On 16 October, @madebyoona staged her wedding to the surveillance state.
Her seven-year project “Dear David” ended with a question: what kind of relationship have we already agreed to?

Feminism fought to stop women from being defined by their genitals. Now gender critics are obsessed with inspecting them. Nothing screams women's liberation quite like demanding strangers prove what's between their legs. Patriarchy called. It wants its playbook back.

wow this is bad!
ENTIRETY of PingCap database used by linkedin, flipkart, airbnb etc. has been copied and stolen due to customer credentials being stored directly in support tickets (LOL)
Attackers ran exfiltration directly on their cloud (LOL) pipeline ran for 22 days, exfiltrating data every 6 hours and NO ONE noticed. Worse, PingCap denies all of it.
Average SRE salary is $300,000 at PingCap btw

I think you are the one overlooking the most important facts here. The UK does not have any jurisdiction over the freedom of expression of people in the US. That's the core point.
4chan and others can simply... do what they have done. Ignore it. The UK can do whatever they can do in the UK, but they can't enforce anything on US soil.
Merely claiming that your laws apply worldwide does not make it so.

A big challenge is that the art market calendar demands artists produce lots of output, all the time. Not even for money, but for attention. Disappear for a year to make good work, and you're basically ded. Presented with a magic button that will make work 4x more generic, but 10x faster, most artists will feel they have no choice but to push it. I don't blame them.
Issue is exacerbated by the phenomenon whereby few people actually care/can tell whether the work is good or not.
I’m seeing the beginning of some very talented artists getting a kind of machine intelligence blindness. I’m watching the quality of their work atrophy. Take a minute to look at the work that you were making three years ago and now. Make sure that the tools you’re now building aren’t accidentally turning your aesthetics, and even your concepts, to mush.

What if we accept that digital art is less sellable than painting ? (For many reasons) we could look for additional solutions: commissions, public art, events and experiences, live arts, education, collective acquisitions, museum’s support, touring, grants

4/ Gen Z collectors have the spending power to reshape the art market. Yet painting remains a dominant entry point.
Why does digital art still struggle to gain visibility at the most prestigious fairs?

What I’m saying here in part though is that artists now have the ability to conjure their own tools, which can give the false illusion that what they can produce from said tools is better than say, using universal proprietary tooling like that of Adobe Suite, when in reality, just because you’ve “authored” a tool or editing environment doesn’t mean you’ve escaped a flattening or sloppening of your own work.

How do cells know what to build?
Cells divide, interact with their neighbours and contribute to a growing whole. But how can an organised form emerge when no individual cell has a picture of the finished organism?
In Dark Field Flora (2025), Alexander Mordvintsev @zzznah begins with just ten connected nodes. Through local interactions and repeated division, elaborate structures emerge.
Now in EMERGENCE at @KateVassGalerie.

New rule: if you wanna whine about free software being built with the help of Claude, you have to submit at least one (1) useful PR to their project on Git
Otherwise, you're literally just demanding people work way harder for free — you're an entitled asshole
