Indeed.
Donald, you just spent more than a thousand words explaining why Bill Maher isnât worth your time.
You reviewed the dinner, disputed how long it lasted, complained about the laughter, questioned his ratings, cataloged everyone who supposedly begged you to meet him, and announced you wonât bother fact-checking anything he said because heâs simply not worth the effort.
Thatâs an extraordinary amount of effort to declare someone irrelevant.
And my personal favorite? You insist Maher desperately wants your approval while composing what amounts to a dissertation on why you no longer want to be friends.
Donald, youâre the President of the United States. Thereâs a war with Iran, Americans are struggling with rising prices, and your administration is embroiled in multiple legal disputes.
But apparently, the pressing national emergency is whether a comedian likes you.
Youâve managed to turn the Oval Office into the worldâs most expensive Yelp complaint department.
Imagine having the nuclear codes and spending Sunday evening writing a thousand-word breakup letter to Bill Maher.
And then signing it âPresident Donald J. Trumpâ as though that somehow makes the whole thing less embarrassing.

The Arsenal of Freedom? BAHAHAHAHA!
Pete, this is coming from a Secretary of Defense who apparently doesnât understand how to manage an arsenal, much less rebuild one.
Your war of choice against Iran has consumed an estimated half to two-thirds of our inventory of certain missile-defense interceptors. The Pentagonâs own Inspector General identified strategic ammunition shortages and serious production bottlenecks. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that replacing certain interceptors will take at least five years, even with increased production.
Now letâs talk about your other ridiculous claims.
AMERICAN WORKERS? American manufacturing lost approximately 113,000 jobs in 2025. Even after this yearâs partial recovery, manufacturing employment in September 2026 remained approximately 41,000 jobs below its December 2024 level.
AMERICAN JOBS? Your administration has produced only about 728,000 net jobs across the entire economy through September 2026. Thatâs hardly the employment renaissance youâre advertising.
AMERICAN MANUFACTURING? Your administrationâs tariffs have increased costs for American manufacturers that depend on imported materials, components, and equipment. Announcing factories, promising investments, and delivering speeches arenât the same as actually producing jobs.
American workers built our defense industrial base long before you arrived. American taxpayers financed it. And your administration has spent billions depleting critical weapons stockpiles in a war it chose to start.
An arsenal isnât a campaign slogan, Pete. Itâs a strategic national asset requiring competent leadership, long-term planning, reliable supply chains, and accountability.
Perhaps you should figure out how to manage the arsenal we already have before taking credit for rebuilding American manufacturing.

OBAMA: I got criticized for tightening up enforcement at the border. But I don't recall anybody campaigning on sending masked agents running through our streets. Don't recall anybody talking about law abiding citizens being arrested, detained, or shot.
Everyone who cares about democracy should be furious the Supreme Court enabled this.

This Forbes investigation is a must-read.
Donald Trump pulled in roughly $1.4 billion from crypto in 2025, plus more than $200 million from real estate, and faced a projected tax bill north of $500 million. So his company donated the "development rights" to his Jupiter, Florida golf course to a land trust, argued the course was a natural habitat worth protecting, and kept right on running the club. Forbes estimates the write-off could land around $825 million.
He has done this at least five times since 2005. New York's attorney general alleged two of those appraisals were inflated. In Doral, he claimed a deduction of up to $323 million, more than double what he paid for the entire resort.
A month after the Jupiter deal, he sued the IRS. The settlement his own Justice Department signed bars claims against him over matters that "could be pending," language that appears broad enough to cover this year's taxes. A federal judge found the case was brought to manipulate the judicial process. And the man now running the IRS, who took the job as this deal was being assembled, has a home backing onto those same Jupiter fairways.
This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should be able to use the presidency to write his own tax bill.

After claiming for years that other countries pay the tariffs and that they donât raise consumer prices, Trump is now rolling back some tariffs to help a Republican senator win reelection. Because of course Americans pay for it.
Insane.

Most of what defines the Trump era isnât political at all. This isnât left vs. right or Democrat vs. Republican. Itâs decent vs. cruel. Itâs honest vs. corrupt. Itâs good vs. evil. And people like him are simply bad human beings.
Trump: Amy Acton's mother said horrible things about Amy Acton and I don't know why you're not allowed to broadcast it. That one ad should really win.
Q: What about what the daughter said about the mother?
Trump: I donât know what she said.
Q: That the mother remained with the stepfather who sexually abused her.
Trump: When did she make that statement? Recently?
Q: Years ago.
Trump: I have no idea. All I know is, Amy Acton's mother said horrible things about Amy Acton. Sheâs fair game.

If Jared Kushner wasnât Trumpâs son-in-law, and if the Trump family and admin werenât inherently corrupt, heâd be under investigation for bribery, operating as an unregistered foreign agent, lying on disclosures, and money laundering.
This is what a corrupt oligarchy looks like.
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-kâŚ

Itâs disgusting that weâve reached this point in our politics, and JD Vance should be ashamed of himself. Vivek Ramaswamy and JD Vance have reached a low I did not think was possible by attacking a survivor of childhood sexual assault. @amyactonoh escaped poverty and neglect and became a doctor and extraordinary public servant.
