The 2CV is back.and I want!! 🤓
Citroën just revealed the new electric 2CV Concept, and it’s pure Deuche energy. Ribbed bonnet, protruding headlights, roll-back cloth roof, and those signature bubble proportions.
Bright orange, deck-chair seats, and an egg basket in the cabin (because of course it does).
Target price: under €15k / ~£13k.
Production version expected in 2028.
Range rumoured around 160 miles.
It’s a concept for now, but this is the one. Simpler, cheaper, more human electric mobility.

What are your thoughts on The Type 01, Electric Roaders?
I had a preview of the car and reckon Jaguar is an iconic British brand with a brilliant heritage. The Type 01 is a radical step into the future, but it still exudes the DNA of the E-Type and Jaguar’s brilliant past. A fully electric, stylish, and beautifully created car with a 400 mile plus range, should have pulling appeal on both sides of the Atlantic.
Seeing the car up close, helps one appreciates the dynamic design, both inside and out. It is good to see such British engineering at its best which should be a big boost for industry and the economy in the UK. @Jaguar @McCons
