As a former contributing writer to the AP Stylebook, I'll make a ruling here: it should be "Dans Sullivan" like Surgeons General. Like Attorneys General, or courts martial. xitter.cf/migold/status/21147937…

It is not Leaving MAGA's approach to debate; this is why we avoid the question of, "why leave MAGA?" But if I had to offer an answer, it would be: because being in MAGA kills off one's empathy. When I left MAGA, I reclaimed my empathy, and became what I call a born-again human being.

Once again, I live in Ukraine, and I have never met a soldier or a civilian who is fighting for Zelenskyy.
Ukrainians resist because our country was invaded, because russian occupation means kidnapped children, executed civilians, torture chambers, mass graves, rape, and looting. Our soldiers defend their families, their culture, their civilians, and their future, not the president.

Replying to @BernardGoldberg
So, Ukraine is coming to our aid if we are attacked? Do you really believe that?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ukraine did provide military support to the US following the 9/11 attacks, with over 5,000 troops serving in Iraq as the third-largest coalition contingent and contributions to Afghanistan operations.

There is a groundswell of typically-lifelong Republicans crossing over in South Carolina to support @AnnieAndrewsMD for US Senate. I know many in my neighborhood, and I approve.
Two former South Carolina governors, Republican David Beasley and Democrat Jim Hodges, have endorsed Democrat Dr. Annie Andrews in the state’s U.S. Senate race:
“We may have served as your governor from different political parties. But we agree South Carolina deserves better than more of the same political fighting”
