It's weird that we talk so much about a "loneliness epidemic" but we don't really talk to people about how to make friends or why they are not making friends.
So, a few things.
I've said this before and people get very angry about me — but something has to replace smoking.

A group of 9-12 year old kids from a community centre in Cork met up with kids living in refugee accommodation nearby.
They made this track, & it’s gone viral; 📺 watch, & see why.

The company that own the Cardiff Glee Club make a lot of dough. This is scare tactics. The Union stands strong.

Blatant trade union intimidation akin to what we have experienced here in Glasgow.
Solidarity with the trailblazing workers at Glee Cardiff. We are all with you 🫡
From Glasgow to Cardiff to London, Brighton, Liverpool and Béal Feirste, hospitality workers are saying NO MORE

Just days after workers at @GleeClubCardiff secure recognition, management have threatened to close the venue.
Our position is clear, we want urgent, positive discussions with management to resolve issues and build a working environment where workers feel respected and valued.

So it’s now gone bust. What a ‘victory’.
I think everyone needs to step back a bit & reflect. Maybe do a bit of independent thinking. There’s a calculated + nasty playbook at work here & many lovely hospo workers will want to distance themselves from this brutality

Our @unitetheunion members we’re in Cardiff Bay last night chatting to @GleeClubCardiff customers about the company’s relentless union busting agenda.
Great to hear so many people voicing their concerns and showing their support for the workers.

Great news for the workers at the Cardiff Glee club. Unions and collective voices works. Still issues outstanding, such as bogus disciplinary action which we’re not backing down from. Keep going ✊

In a country that aspires to be a fair work nation, it's utterly shameful, to hear anti worker, outright intimidation from @GleeClubCardiff treating their staff in this appalling manner. Time you listen to @UniteWales, work in social partnership to improve conditions for workers.
