The Barnstaple fireworks display last night was graced with perfect conditions. Always great to watch and fun trying to find a location to frame a shot you hope will work out. Bit annoyed didn’t get perfect 100% reflection but still pretty happy

One of those perfect days here in Woolacombe. Nothing spooky about these dreamy peeling waves

Spectacular views now the rain has cleared. From Morte point across Woolacombe bay with Baggy point and Hartland in the distance. Still blowing a hooley but not as bad as earlier #StormAusten #Devon #atlantic

Hard to comprehend the betrayal by Trump America and Muck
Sanctions relief will continue. I think the diesel deal and the move regarding the Lindsey Graham Act are not the end of it. Unfortunately.
It’s unfortunate because we all had great respect for Lindsey. He devoted his life to America. We had an excellent relationship with him. And shortly before the tragedy, Lindsey was in Ukraine. He always supported us very strongly and pushed for as much assistance to Ukraine as possible.
It’s difficult without him, I’ll be honest. I want to thank both Democrats and Republicans who supported his bill. That was a major victory: this truly bipartisan support. And now, the decision to undo all of this, to block all of it, seems wrong to me. And it definitely helps only the Russians. It only fuels their satisfaction and their desire to keep killing people. This certainly does not stop the war.

Photographers will spend $2,000 on image stabilization to avoid carrying a $100 tripod.
Then they’ll photograph a waterfall at 1/8th of a second, zoom in to 200%, and wonder why the trees look nervous.
Technology is useful.
Physics remains annoyingly well funded.
