The Supreme Court's reluctance to hear Second Amendment cases changed as its membership shifted to the right in recent years. The court's conservative bloc voted on Thursday to overturn a century-old New York law restricting the carrying of handguns. nyti.ms/3nco6sr

Pole dance is for everyone. But the style and context of pole dance can affect the possibilities of gender performance. Read more in this article, where we also discuss pole dance becoming a sport and thus entering a space traditionally characterized by hegemonic masculinity👇🏻

Elaine De Vos using the ‘kit bag interview’ to examine female boxers’ negotiation of gender relations in the gym. My first time hearing about sensory ethnography - what a fascinating methodology and project! #eassISSA2022

Today, @elainedevos72’s very interesting presentation on the sensory, embodied experiences of women "kitting up" for boxing resonated with me when we went on to a panel debate staged in a sports hall, and my first instict was to get barefoot and do cartwheels🤸🏼‍♀️ @eass_ISSA2022 – at Tübingen, Deutschland

@NEXSKU

A devastatingly effective, fair and fact based interview by an Irish journalist with Russian’s ambassador to Ireland. “Why should our government entertain your presence here when you’re acting as an apologist for slaughter.”

#Lighedisundhed #Sundpol
