that flips the usual web3 playbook where projects try to manufacture demand from inside the ecosystem
if @Pogo_Social can apply a similar creator first distribution model, that could be a very interesting parallel to watch

I've been a BD in crypto and in enterprise AI. People assume the second is easier because AI has real demand. But the reality is that the friction just moved.
Crypto BD meant convincing a partner something should exist before it had users. Once you got the deal, the product either mattered or it didn't, and on chain data told you within a quarter. No hiding 🫣
Enterprise AI BD meant nobody's suspicious of the category anymore, so the pitch is easy to get a meeting for. But the sales cycle is longer, procurement is heavier, and it works in the demo and it survives a compliance review are two different products.
I know lot of you peeps are currently job hunting and or maybe considering pivoting, hang in there and pick the one that aligns well with ur style of work. Both of them are challenging and incredibly rewarding 🙌
Hyperliquid's open interest just hit an $11B high and it now clears roughly 9% of all global perp positions, up from under 7% in late May. Read as a health metric, that looks like winning.
Check the other side of the ledger and it isn't: gross protocol revenue has fallen four straight quarters, down 43% from its Q3 2025 peak. 😶
The reason is Hip3 builder markets, almost entirely @tradexyz 's Rwa perps, which went from about 2% of Hyperliquid's volume in January to roughly half of it now, and builders keep up to half the fee on that volume. The exchange is intermediating its own growth without fully monetising it.
Still bullish for the next quarter🙌
Two Hyperliquid stories broke this week and nobody's connecting them.
> One is plumbing: scaleWei, an atomic on chain function that rescales every holder's balance in a single transaction, basically a stock split with no migration contract and no user action.
> The other is political: the @HyperliquidPC is in CFTC conversations for a compliant route to list perps in the US, building on the Kalshi BTCPERP approval in May.
Infra + regulator small talk, same week, is what an exchange does right before it stops being only a Defi thing and starts being infrastructure normal people's pension funds touch. 🙃

None of us knew then that these pixelated Monkes would bring so many people together, or that the community around them would eventually become @MonkeDAO.
