Truth be told. Under capitalism, one person exploits another. Under Communism, it’s the other way around.

Yet when will First Nations honour their commitments? Standing in the way of the progress which ultimately benefits them?
At the First Nations–First Ministers’ Meeting in Ottawa, Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Grand Chief Kyra Wilson called on #Canada to honour its Treaty obligations, respect First Nations sovereignty and inherent rights, and address generations of unfulfilled commitments affecting Manitoba’s 63 First Nations. Challenging the legacy of the 1930 Natural Resources Transfer Agreement, outstanding Treaty land entitlements, and the exclusion of First Nations from decisions concerning their lands and resources, Wilson reminded government leaders that Treaties were agreements between Nations, founded on mutual respect and shared obligations. “Prime Minister, you have asked the world to respect Canada’s sovereignty and honour its agreements. Our ancestors honoured theirs. Will Canada honour ours?” “We were not promised a loan. We were promised a share.” The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs called for meaningful Treaty implementation, negotiations to replace the #NRTA with an agreement signed by First Nations, clear timelines for outstanding Treaty land obligations, and recognition of Canada’s apology to the #Dakota and #Lakota Nations. “Our Chiefs have not come for another program. We have come for implementation.” Grand Chief Wilson went to Ottawa not to negotiate a new deal, but to demand that Canada honour the agreements it already made. #Treaties are living agreements, not promises to be selectively remembered or indefinitely postponed. #LongPlainFirstNation #TreatyOne #Wilson #WAB #MBPOLI #CDnPOLI

🇨🇦 TRUMP PUT A 50% TARIFF ON CANADIAN ALUMINUM. NOW CANADA IS SELLING MORE TO EUROPE, AND AMERICANS ARE PAYING MORE. There’s just one problem with trying to make America less dependent on Canadian aluminum. America doesn’t produce nearly enough aluminum to meet its own needs. Canada has long supplied most American imports of primary aluminum. Our hydroelectric-powered smelters produce a metal essential to U.S. automobiles, aircraft, construction and manufacturing. Trump’s tariffs were supposed to strengthen American industry. Instead, American manufacturers are confronting soaring aluminum premiums while rebuilding domestic production remains enormously expensive and time-consuming. Meanwhile, something rather inconvenient is happening for Washington. According to today’s Wall Street Journal, Canadian aluminum shipments to Europe have increased 77% year over year through August. Think about what that means. America is making Canadian aluminum more expensive for American businesses while encouraging Canadian producers to develop relationships with customers elsewhere. And those relationships may outlast the tariffs themselves. There’s nothing wrong with America wanting greater industrial independence. Canada should be pursuing the same objective. But creating domestic production capacity takes years, enormous investment and affordable electricity. Tariffs don’t magically produce any of those things. So if Americans are paying more for aluminum while Canadians are finding new customers, who exactly is becoming less dependent on whom?

Documented cases of election fraud exist, including over 1,600 in the Heritage sampling across decades (higher counts in larger states like FL, CA, TX) and recent DOJ charges for noncitizen voting concentrated in MN, PA, TX and others. Multiple analyses show these remain tiny fractions of total ballots and rarely change statewide results. No evidence points to material risk altering 2026 midterm outcomes beyond isolated incidents.
