“A person has two lives, and the second begins when they realize they only have one.” I think these words from Liu Zhengliang sum up the main message of Small Town Remedy better than anything else. We often put things off, wait for the right moment, are afraid to make changes, or hold on to the past for too long. Sometimes we forget that we don't have unlimited time. And maybe our second life begins when we finally understand that. I've finished watching Small Town Remedy, and I honestly don't even know how to put all my feelings into words. I always feel a little sad when a drama I really love comes to an end. You get so attached to the characters that you genuinely miss them afterward. And I already know I'm going to miss this little town and everyone in it. I rarely cry when watching movies or dramas, but I honestly can't remember the last time a story made me cry this much. Small Town Remedy really got to me. I've always loved medical dramas, and I was really looking forward to this one. And I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations by 200%! This is exactly the kind of medical drama I wanted to see. It has a great story, realistic medical cases, well-written characters, and patients whose stories stay with you. Medicine isn't just there as a backdrop. It's actually a major part of the story. And the acting was amazing! Every single actor did such a great job. And I'm so glad Xiao Zhan chose this project. I've always admired Xiao Zhan's acting, but somehow, with every new role, he makes me fall in love with his talent all over again. ❤️ His Liu Zhengliang felt so real that sometimes I completely forgot I was watching a drama. I believed every emotion, worried about him, and felt happy for him. Xiao Zhan did an incredible job, and I'm so proud of him. And now, about the ending... A few spoilers ahead, along with my own interpretation! One of the moments that touched me the most was when the countdown finally reached zero, and then the clock started counting forward. I thought that was such a beautiful and meaningful detail. To me, it felt like all this time, the seconds had been counting down toward the end. But maybe zero wasn't the end at all. Maybe it was a new beginning. The beginning of that second life Liu Zhengliang had talked about. The moment when you finally stop living in the past and start appreciating the time you still have. I really loved how this tied back to his words about having two lives. It made that quote feel even more meaningful to me. I think this is exactly why I love stories like this. They don't just make you feel something while you're watching. They also make you think about your own life. About how much time we spend worrying, how often we put important things off, and how easily we take everyday moments for granted. Small Town Remedy has definitely become one of my all-time favorite dramas. And I don't want to judge it by ratings, view counts, or numbers. What matters much more to me is how it made me feel. And I felt so much while watching it. I'm already missing Liu Zhengliang, this little town, all the people in it, and those evenings when I could just put on a new episode and spend some more time with them. I really wish this story didn't have to end. But I'm so glad I got to watch it, and I'm sure I'll come back to it again. And as for Xiao Zhan, I'm not saying goodbye. I'm already looking forward to seeing him again, with a new character and a new story ❤️ #XiaoZhan #肖战 #SmallTownRemedy

Small Town Remedy styling director Liu Ning reveals that Liu Zhengliang's stubble was Xiao Zhan's own idea and explains how he maintained its length throughout filming. 🎤: When I first saw his look, there was something else that really caught my attention: the light stubble. I thought it was a particularly clever touch. So how did you decide on the length, placement, and density of the stubble? 👩🏻: We really have to thank Xiao Zhan laoshi for that because the stubble was actually his own idea. He thought he could grow a little facial hair. But at the time, we felt it would be extremely difficult to keep it consistent. Because, just like you said, it might be a little longer today and a little shorter tomorrow, and then the shots wouldn't match. But for the sake of this character, Xiao Zhan laoshi precisely controlled the timing of his beard growth. 🎤: How did he manage that? 👩🏻: He carefully timed when he shaved each day. For example, he'd shave after wrapping up filming, leaving just a tiny bit of stubble, so that by the next day, it would have grown to exactly the right length. So basically, he shaved about once every two days. 🎤: That's incredible control! 👩🏻: What really moved me about this production was how much effort everyone put into bringing this character to life. Once we'd established the look, the actor himself was also extremely meticulous. He's an incredibly disciplined actor. Every day, he managed to keep his stubble at just the right length, something we all thought would be incredibly difficult to achieve. But he managed it exceptionally well. #XiaoZhan #肖战 #SmallTownRemedy
