We began with 13 townships, taken from Sedgwick and McPherson counties. We annexed two from Marion County in 1873.

New: The FDA's advisory committee has voted unanimously 19-0 to authorize a 50mcg booster of the Moderna vaccine in:
- Individuals 65+
- Individuals 18-64 with high risk of severe COVID-19
- Individuals 18-64 with institutional or occupational risks to COVID-19

The Harvey County Commission implemented a local health order to limit mass gatherings in Harvey County to 10 individuals. The order runs from Nov. 25, 2020, through Jan. 5, 2021.

The Harvey County Health Department has confirmed a cluster of COVID-19 cases at the Schowalter Villa retirement facility in Hesston.
The cluster includes seven facility staff members confirmed to have COVID-19. There are no known COVID-19 cases among residents.
