Classic TO scene. Brand new University bike lanes, built by the city at some expense, wholly occupied by what appears to be a city contracted truck forcing riders into busy traffic. The guy behind the wheel was on his phone, of course. You’d almost be disappointed if be wasn’t.

I have been watching the TTC Audit Committee meeting video about fare evasion, and it is blindingly obvious that some members of the TTC board have never ridden a bus in their life and have no idea of the dynamics of passenger movement on vehicles. They surely won't be missed.

The increase in property taxes proposed by staff in this year’s Toronto budget is average about $35 per month.
As a homeowner, I would more than happily pay $1 a day more in municipal property taxes to ensure that our shelter system doesn’t collapse.
I’d actually pay more.
