It's been a journey. But it all informs how we build today.
Expertise across onchain and offchain infra, compliance, UI/UX.
That’s why leading stablecoin companies build with Eco.

Everyone wants them.
But then when everyone has them, where will you get them?
Not a trick question.

Looks like @Eco is becoming one of the best options for moving stablecoins between L2s.
Ex: Transfer $5k in USDC between Arbitrum and Optimism for 4 cents, including slippage, in seconds...

One Proof. Twenty Fills. All In Real Time
@eco's Lead Technical PM Christian demonstrates how Polymer's Prove API can validate multi-party + multi-chain intents with a single proof 🛰️
Even as the # of fills increase, the cost stays static.
That's how Polymer scale intents infinitely ♾️

This is a great breakdown! We love the UX benefits of intents, especially for stables. Not only can you abstract chains into a single action, you can also abstract different types of stables into a single balance.
In testing our implementation at @eco, we found that the gas cost and settlement time makes the liquidity really expensive vs other solutions. We treat it as a fallback failsafe in our routes to gurantee liveness. @BlessedGondola is helping on RIP-7859 (github.com/ethereum/RIPs/pul…) to make this more standardized and efficient.

Long before formal economic systems, "currency" acted as a pre-digital version of social capital.
Money is just a story we tell ourselves.
In “Currency in a Post-Money World”, CEO of @eco @rynesaxe investigates currency as a social technology.

Earlier this week, @eco launched Routes in beta, a feature of the protocol that allows onchain apps to simplify complex onchain actions into one, simple transfer. People who use apps with Eco will be able to easily use their preferred stablecoins from across networks on Ethereum.
Ryne Saxe retweeted
Can one simple integration allow an onchain app to easily accept stablecoins from multiple blockchains? Yes.
Eco Routes is now live in beta on @Arbitrum, @Base, @Optimism, @0xMantle–more coming soon!

Debanking is real

There's been a lot of talk about crypto people and projects getting debanked, but we'll never know the full extent of the damage because of how much "quiet debanking" has happened.
For a lot of companies, they didn't totally lose banking, they were just slowly squeezed to death by bank compliance departments that got increasingly more hostile towards crypto.
The Eco App went from USDC to USD before ultimately shutting down because we couldn't execute on our vision without losing the banking partners that provided key existing features.
The silver lining is that it pushed us to where we should have been in the first place — focusing on self-custody products like @bend_eco and contributing to the @eco protocol.

Retweet or quote tweet this if you’ve ever been de-banked because you own crypto or are in crypto!
I have, multiple times, whether it’s banks refusing to open you an account because of crypto, closing your account because of crypto, etc

All of these teams are working diligently to solve the UX issue and provide lightning fast interoperability for the modular ecosystem.
Let's not be upset, rather let's encourage the community to align on most important part of the next 18 months:
Unification and collaboration to create a set of interoperability standards which utilizes the best parts of the tech mentioned above, in collaboration with others.
We must put individual interests aside for the broader community in this moment.
It starts at Devcon.

ethereum is facing its titanic moment, we are steering toward an iceberg.
by prioritizing decentralization, ethereum became the world’s most trusted settlement layer, attracting players like blackRock. but the cost? a slow chain with high fees.
high-perf L1s gained ground as builders prioritized UX over pure decentralization.
ethereum's L2s were supposed to bridge this gap, placing decentralized activity on L1 and high-performance tasks on L2.
instead, fragmented projects and VC-driven incentives have scattered the ecosystem and screwed retail. key DeFi components (oracles, stablecoins, dexs) are charging massive fees, and L2s focus on replicating L1 rather than pushing performance forward—leading to “death by a thousand cuts.”
it's easier to conquer a divided kingdom, and solana just needs to be better than some crappy L2s to prove its point. it’s done a great job at that.
to reclaim our edge, we must:
• Let users be early again, not raise at massive vals, enriching the ETH elite while dumping on users
• shift the social layer away from researchers and core infrastructure team to our users and next-gen builders
• stand by open projects as opposed to walled gardens that are trying to monopolize everything
the ticker? its $ETH
