Radhika Apte, if you were so uncomfortable with the role and its storyline, why did you accept it in the first place?
Appreciate how Keerthy Suresh respectfully tried to explain the cultural context of such relationships in Telugu and Tamil states.
You’ve made bold choices in Bollywood, including nude scenes, and that’s entirely your professional freedom. The same principle of choice applies to Telugu cinema.
I’m not here to defend Bollywood or Tollywood blindly. Every actor has the right to choose roles and express discomfort, but criticizing an industry while overlooking your own professional choices raises questions.
Respectfully, cultural differences deserve understanding, not dismissal. Such statements, especially years later, come across as unfair and unnecessarily controversial.
@radhika_apte
#Dorothy is a good movie.
#Baththa is definitely a great movie! ❤️
But let’s be real… Telugu lo ilanti cinemalu teeste chudaru. This has been proven time and again.
Appreciating good cinema, irrespective of language, is always welcome. But why does that appreciation have to come at the cost of putting down Telugu cinema?
Praise good cinema, but not by belittling Telugu cinema. Both can coexist!
#TeluguCinema
Very well articulated 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Waiting for this generation to see full potential of #Trivikram

Heartbreaking to hear about the passing of legendary music director Deva garu. 💔
Though he composed for very few Telugu films, almost every album was a chartbuster! ❤️
Thammudu remains one of my all-time favourite albums. And of course, his iconic music and BGMs for Rajinikanth sir’s films were such a huge part of my childhood.
Some songs aren’t just music; they’re memories, emotions, and a part of growing up.
Thank you for making our childhood so memorable with your music, Deva garu. Your melodies will live on forever. 💔
Rest in peace, legend. 🙏

Dont know the online talk, but spoke to 10 to 15 colleagues and everyone liked #Ranabaali
Might not be a blockbuster but definitely hit based on mouth talk… Production house should start aggressive promotions
Looking forward to watch this weekend
@MythriOfficial @TheDeverakonda
Sye and Vikramarkudu started with flop/below-average talk but later became hits. Not blockbusters, but definitely hits considering all the checkboxes.
Ewadra asalu Rajamouli ki mottam hits ey unnay ani cheppindi
How many of you know that #Sye wasn't a hit
Thega ruddestaru asalu flop ey leni darshaludu ani...Bokkem kadhu .
I'm talking as I watched Sye in theatres only at that time . Janalaki pedda ekkaledhu.
Watched #EPIC last night on Netflix, and I genuinely feel bad for those who spent their time and money watching this in theatres. I was frustrated even watching it on OTT. Can't imagine how disappointed I would've been walking out of a theatre.
Aditya Hassan is a very good director and a decent writer. He definitely has potential. 90’s – A Middle Class Biopicworked because of its core EMOTION. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I felt was missing in EPIC.
I understand this is Aditya's POV, inspired by his real-life experiences. But every filmmaker, including aspiring filmmakers, has personal struggles, heartbreaks, and experiences they believe could make a great film.
But not every personal experience deserves to become a feature film.
At the end of the day, audiences want to be engaged. Be it drama, crime, horror, action, romance, or comedy, something needs to keep them invested throughout. Just because something happened in real life doesn't automatically make it interesting on screen.
And building an entire film around conversations and drama is extremely difficult. Without strong writing, emotional depth, and engaging characters, even the most personal story can fall flat.
What frustrates me the most is seeing crores being invested in films that fail to justify the talent and resources behind them, while so many deserving filmmakers are struggling to get their first opportunity.
Aditya, I genuinely believe you are a talented filmmaker. But knowing which story is worth telling is just as important as knowing how to tell it.Hope you recognise your strengths, work on your writing, and come back stronger.
Cinema isn't about how much a story means to the filmmaker. It's about how much the filmmaker can make that story mean to the audience.
Wishing you a solid comeback, Aditya!
#AdityaHasan
A sincere request to Naga Vamsi Garu @vamsi84.
I genuinely feel it's time for producers to start questioning directors and demanding a fully convincing script before taking a film onto the floors, irrespective of whether the director's previous film was a blockbuster.
A director's previous success can justify their remuneration, but it should never be a guarantee for their next film.
Every film is NEW. Every script is NEW. And I strongly believe every story should be treated like a debut film by its writer, director, and producer. The same hunger, the same scrutiny, and the same effort should go into every project.
Audiences are evolving. Their exposure to world cinema is increasing, and their expectations are changing. It's time our industry changes its approach too.
We need to stop blindly investing crores in combinations based on previous successes. A successful director + a popular hero + a big production house doesn't automatically equal a good film.
I strongly feel producers should take back creative control and accountability over their projects, like they did in the 80s and 90s. Not to interfere with a director's vision, but to question, challenge, and ensure that the script truly deserves the investment.
Sithara Entertainments has always had a reputation for identifying the right talent, encouraging newcomers, and giving opportunities to deserving filmmakers. I genuinely appreciate that.
But for that vision to continue succeeding, please prioritise CONTENT over COMBINATIONS.
A blockbuster should earn a filmmaker their next opportunity, not unquestioned approval of their next script.
This isn't about criticising one production house or one filmmaker. It's about wanting better films, responsible investments, and a healthier future for Telugu cinema.
Audiences have changed. It's time our filmmaking and production decisions changed too.

18 Years of Kotha Bangaru Lokam ❤️
The film that marked my first step into the Telugu Film Industry!
18 years ago, Kotha Bangaru Lokam became a special part of my life, not because of how much screen time I had, but because of the doors it opened for me.
I was just a small part of this beautiful film, but looking back, I realize how big a role it played in my journey.
This film taught me something I’ve carried with me ever since, it’s not always about how much screen time you get, but about the people you meet, the connections you build, and the opportunities that follow.
It was through this film that I discovered my love for cinema even more deeply, built some wonderful connections, and eventually got the opportunity to play one of the main characters in Aa Okkadu.
What started as a small appearance slowly turned into a passion that made me explore different sides of filmmaking from acting to writing, direction, and production.
18 years later, my love for cinema has only grown stronger. There is still so much to learn, so much to achieve, and so many stories I want to tell.
Some films entertain us. Some films inspire us. And a few films become a part of our own story. Kotha Bangaru Lokam will always be one of those films for me. ❤️
Forever grateful for where it all began!

finding it hard to believe. 💔
I’ve always been a huge fan of Nana Patekar Ji. His intensity, dialogue delivery, those expressions and the way he could convey so much without even speaking… what an incredible actor!
There are so many films where his performance stayed with me more than the film itself. He didn’t need to be the lead to steal the show and Some of my all-time favourite performances in Indian cinema will always belong to him.
Heartbreaking to know we won’t get to see that magic again.
What a loss to Indian cinema. 💔🙏
Om Shanti 🙏🏻
#NanaPatekar
Singeetam Srinivasa Rao garu has always been someone I deeply admired, not just for the filmmaker he was, but for his incredible relationship with cinema.
When I look at his filmography, what inspires me most is the fearlessness to experiment. He never allowed cinema to put him inside a box. Different genres, different ideas, different forms of storytelling… that curiosity remained with him throughout his life.
But more than all those classics, there is one thing about Singeetam garu that will stay with me forever his passion to keep working even at the age of 94
That is a lesson I want to carry with me throughout my own journey in cinema.
Awards will come and go. Success and failure will come and go. Generations will change. But if you can still wake up wanting to tell a story, create something new and talk about cinema with the same excitement… that is a life well lived.
Whenever I feel tired, impatient or wonder how long this journey is going to take, I want to remember Singeetam garu.
Cinema doesn’t ask your age. Passion doesn’t have a retirement date.
Thank you, Singeetam garu, for all the wonderful cinema, for showing us what experimentation truly means, and for reminding younger filmmakers like me to never stop being curious.Your films will remain. Your experiments will remain.
And your love for cinema will continue to inspire generations of filmmakers.
Rest in peace, Singeetam garu.
A legend may have left us, but his cinema never will.

In times when even a disaster gets a “Success Meet,” when they keep calling everything a “hit,” and when anyone who says “flop” gets blocked on Twitter…
Coming out on Day 2 and accepting the audience’s verdict needs guts.
This is what I and so many of us —love about you, @NameisNani .
Your love for cinema and respect for the audience have always pushed you to try something different. Sometimes experiments work. Sometimes they don’t. That’s cinema.
But please never lose that passion for experimenting. Be the same Nani.
We’ve already seen what a good mass film can do for you. This isn’t about just finding the “right script.” Come back stronger and shake the box office. Adhi jaragakapothe, appudu audience ga memu cheptham sorry! (Already Konni Cinemala BO Verdict ki jeevitantham cheptuna untam IYKYK)
And today, I can proudly say that you’re still the same Naveen Babu I knew back in SR Nagar, just a much bigger star now.
Thank you for being a star who respects the audience and their judgement.
More power to you, #Nani
Come back stronger 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Good Cinema will always win.😊

I have seen all your reactions and responses. I’ve received all your love and equally enjoyed your hilarious trolls. I’m heartwarmed by the way audience have owned the film, and also learnt from the flaws that critics and reviewers have pointed out.
Thank you for everything is all I can say.
We have made #TheParadise with a lot of blood and sweat to give you a unique experience, and it’s all yours to celebrate or judge.
With the excitement you had for the film and the affection you showed on me, I am filled with gratitude ♥️

A thought about Annaya @KChiruTweets is always a source of joy. While I walk along the memory lane on this special day ,these are few memories I have tumbled upon.
In our childhood, he went away from home to pursue his college education in Narsapur. And his homecoming for summer holidays was a festive season. A big pain and disappointment used to follow when he used to go back for his college. We all used to miss his absence and feel the vacuum. Home was never vibrant till he was back.
In my school days, just walking beside him was a proud moment. I used to feel like I am walking with the world's most important person; by then, he was just in college.
When he used to ride my father’s bike (Bullet - 350 cc) with his curly long hair, fit NCC Cadet body with bell bottoms and glasses - oh! it was an absolutely fanboy and hero-worshipping moment.
My Annaya was always a Hero for me even before he became a Hero.
In the early days of his film career, he brought a big blue bag from his first Singapore trip. In that blue bag I found my first tiny Lego helicopter, few remote cars, racing track, some comics, music tapes, tape recorder ,scented Yardley Co. powders, soaps ,few perfumes and other small gifts to others. He always brought us joy and smiles into our small home.
In subsequent years, when he got married, I was worried that he would be away from all of us. And I was crying silently in a room. Then he brought my Vadina and said, “Come, I will introduce you to a big man (Pedda Manishi) today.” They both were laughing while they found the reason for my tears.
Then, following years, I was taken to Chennai (then Madras) to stay with Annaya and Vadina. I don’t have enough words for the love and care they showered on me.
I had seen his struggle, hard work and injuries in shoots. Everyday he used to reach home in the middle of the night after 18 hours shift of laborious work in his sweat-drenched costumes and shoes in the Chennai’s heat and humidity; with hardly any strength to stand…
I used to feel guilty for living off on his hard work and sacrifice. But he never even uttered a word about my academic failures and lack of direction in my life.
The way he lighted up our family and relatives with his generosity and he extended the same spirit to his friends, producers, film fraternity and everyone he touched. He is one of the primary and key persons who acted as a cultural bridge between the South and Hindi film industry. He always believed in Indian cinema. Pratibandh and Aaj Ka GoondaRaj were two of his blockbusters in Hindi.
A tech-savvy person, his astounding medical knowledge, his philanthropic nature, a family man, superstardom to megastardom, Central Cabinet Minister, National Awards, highest civilian honors (Padma Vibhushan).
What he hadn’t seen and achieved, but he never rests. After a major spinal operation recently, he bounces back within no time with his strength training and goes back to work. Like a city never sleeps, he’s a man who never rests. He’s born with an unstoppable motor within. That’s why he’s become our beloved ‘Mega Star’ and my only Hero.
Let ‘Mother Nature’ provide you my Dear Annaya @KChirutweets abundant health, super strength and astounding victories on your life path.
Wishing my Annaya on his birthday is not a formality but a gentle reminder to many like me ; how his life has impacted, influenced and transformed millions like me to build a better future and to lay a stronger foundations for the land of Bharath -we all adore and worship.
Jai Hind !!
