Can we pause on the assumptions that every inter-county player wishes to play this Championship with so many uncertainties. And no, it’s not as simple as “sit it out then”. They lose a social support network, an attention distraction and PA by doing that.

Forfeit points or ask amateur players to take an extra risk that seems to contradict government advice? @irishhockey @sportireland please stop dismissing clubs concerns for player welfare, #COVID19 is spreading rapidly. Caution by clubs is not something that should be penalised
