Next month will be a year myself and the family moved to Dubai 🇦🇪… was it easy? NO! Was it worth it? YES! I met so many people made so many connections started new businesses etc and YES it was at a cost, The cost of not been able to have a braai with friends, going out for dinners and drives on a Sunday, family visiting us for the weekend etc ofcourse we miss that, we humans with feelings and emotions. But sacrifices were made for the better. To answer the so many DMs, Yes we miss SA, Cape Town will always be our home 🇿🇦 We have vlogs filled with memories we can always tune into ❤️ For anyone considering Immigration, the hardest part to overcome is the social aspect, meeting new friends is not as easy as the ones you built years with. The separation from family etc and nothing prepares you for this feeling of missing home and getting constantly asked the question, Its something you discover as the days weeks and months pass you by and you build yourself up to the point where you tell yourself, They just a 9 hour flight away ✈️
