This is abhorrent. Elections don’t have to be about cruelty and lies. South Carolina deserves better. I urge voters to look at the merits of each candidate and cast their vote accordingly. We must reject politics based on division and hate. While South Carolinians can strongly disagree with one another, we can do so civilly and with honest intentions for the betterment of our communities and well being of our families.

United, not divided. That's the takeaway from my conversation with Ken— when Americans meet today's challenges together, communities thrive.

The DNC must get rid of the policy platform process. During presidential primaries, candidates present their own platform. Voters decide which is best. That's the party platform! The DNC platform harms the primary winner. 1/

Overnight in Berlin, Ohio and wow it’s beautiful here. The sunset might be playing a huge part in it, but this is one of my favorite places of the whole trip so far.

Sharing stories at the Clinton Center in Little Rock with Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. about the days when Clinton was President and I was Governor. While there might have been differences, we worked big solutions by block granting Medicaid and Welfare Reform back to the states where the rubber meets the road. And, the federal budget was balanced!!! Our debt is going to destroy us. It is time for that type cooperation again between the D’s and R’s. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL… via @YouTube

The policy choices ahead of us carry real-world consequences for our country’s future. Democrats needs to be informed, including by those who understand emerging technologies best. We don’t have to agree on every conclusion to acknowledge that good policy comes from real dialogue
NEW: We Democrats used to be the party of innovation. But we took a misguided turn against tech in the Biden era. Our new report by @DaveV15 on Democrats' Techlash Trap explains why and how this happened - so that Dems can correct this lose-lose policy & political mistake.

I’m proud of the South Carolina senators who respected the people’s voices and believe that equal dignity and equal representation are not partisan issues.
SC Senate just voted 26-18 to continue the redistricting bill, which essentially kills the bill.

I am voting for McDuffie because I think blue cities need to be governed well, JLG's policies will more likely than McDuffie's raise crime, and Trump would weaponize that against Dems everywhere. My fellow DCers, don't sleepwalk into this

Completely support this effort - will note that donors to groups should see how they are using money. ACLU claimed they didn’t know Biden’s positions because we didn’t fill out questionnaire in ‘20 Primary so they spent a lot of money attacking us huffpost.com/entry/the-aclu…

I grew up in Ohio where, for generations, my family worked for GM, Ford, NCR, Fujitec, and Frigidaire. We forgot that our ability to build is our greatest deterrent. It's time to bring manufacturing back to the Heartland. 🇺🇸 Check out my new essay for American Affairs 👇

This will be common sense to most democrats outside of the elite circles but still a great reminder of the path available to win elections and govern effectively, should we choose.
It's time to renew the Democratic Party. Introducing DECIDING TO WIN: the most comprehensive account yet of where Democrats went wrong, and what we need to do to win again. With a year of research and tons of new data, by @laurenhpope, @liamkerr, and me. Link and 🧵 below.

Amidst constant change & complex decisions, true leadership starts with presence. Taking a moment to listen to your team and inner compass sharpens clarity & builds trust. It's how we lead with integrity, even when it's hard. #MindfulLeadership #PurposeDriven #JoeKiani

Dems talk a lot about ousting the old guard of elected officials. What about the old guard of staff and advisors? My take:
