What’s a disciple? Someone who is immersing their entire life in the triune God and who is actively learning to obey everything Jesus commanded. See Matthew 28:19-20

You can be a conservative and oppose the death penalty in modern America. If conservatism includes skepticism of bloated, fallible, and sometimes corrupt government power, there is a strong conservative case for refusing to give the state its most ultimate and irreversible power: executing a human life.

BEING SAVED: The felt experience of the in-breaking of God’s life into a human life. The moment the human becomes aware their sin created their mess and sees God standing as the door out, aware for the first time of Jesus’ invitation to follow him into God’s life. 8/

Definitions are important because often Christians lose meaning through over-familiarity, creating odd bifurcations between things like "life" and "spiritual life" and "maturity" and "spiritual maturity" as though one exlcudes the other. #selah

Definitions are always necessary because words like these get thrown around in Christian circles and lose their meaning under the assumption of familiarity. This can end up bifurcating realities like “life” and “spiritual life” into almost meaningless categories. #selah
