This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about โNATO not being there for Americaโ is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And youโve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."

AuDHD IS WILD.
โข I notice any tiny sign that you're upset with me but miss all the signs that you actually like me.
โข I need structure, guidance, and clear expectations. Just don't tell me what to do.
โข I can spend hours creating the perfect routine and approximately three days following it.
โข I can accomplish a week's worth of work in one afternoon but one appointment at 2 PM will ruin my entire day.
โข I want to be included but hope the plans get canceled.
โข My brain wants stimulation and silence, preferably at the exact same time.
โข I struggle to start something but once I get started, can't make myself stop.
โข I want everyone to understand me but would rather disappear than have to explain myself.

I donโt mask because I want to pass as neurotypical.
I mask because, since childhood, Iโve been punished, mocked, and humiliated for not behaving the way people think I should.
Thereโs a difference.
For me, masking is a trauma response.
Autistic Person: "I need more context before I answer."
Them: "Maybe this conversation is just above your level." (pause)
Autistic Person: "Interesting."
Them: "What?"
Autistic Person: "I asked for information. You responded with an insult. Now I have more information than I asked for."

We were doing the โwhat role would you play in the apocalypseโ thing at work today and I said โIโd opt outโ and I got very shocked looks. Apparently the response of โlook how men treat women now without the world needing repopulatedโ wasnโt the right answer. Whoops.

another one is : if youโre having sex with a man and there has been consent to have sex and then you pull out a dildo out of your bag and try to peg him with itโฆ. they will also quickly understand consent
Overheard Gen Z saying thereโs no way undiagnosed ADHD adults just white-knuckled school with zero accommodations.
Oh, kids. We didnโt just get through it.
We built whole personalities around masking, got called โsmart but lazyโ by every teacher, and only learned the name for executive dysfunction in our thirties.

Some duets are so beautifully blended that the entire scene feels like something out of a dream. Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelliโs performance of โTime to Say Goodbyeโ is one of those unforgettable moments.

I think sometimes neurodivergent people can get hung up on the literal content of small talk, like 'How are you?' 'Any fun plans for the weekend?' etc because I read a thing once about how in the animal kingdom you basically have to make friendly noises to indicate you're unthreatening to others, and once I started thinking of small talk as just the intent of making friendly noises it became a lot easier to engage with๏ฟผ

iโm not the autistic person who completely misses every social cue. iโm the one who notices the change in someoneโs tone, the awkward silence, the facial expression that lasted half a second, the tension between two people and the weird shift in the atmosphereโand then proceeds to analyze all of it simultaneously. i notice so much that my brain basically crashes trying to figure out what everything means. itโs not that i canโt read the room. sometimes iโm reading every single thing in the room at once and have no idea which interpretation is actually correct.

I saw a post that said:
โI think being forced to be hyper independent as a child has caused me to be irrationally angry with any adult who needs their hand held through anything they do.โ
And I felt that in my soul.

Women don't make games about rape, don't make podcasts about hating men and treating them like objects. Women don't make group chats teaching each other how to assault their family members. Women have never deprived men of their human rights. Women don't write laws banning men from voting or studying. Women don't build religions that strip men of freedom. Women don't flood media with men as sexual props or trophies.

autistic meltdowns arenโt tantrums. a tantrum is basically โi didnโt get what i wanted, so maybe making a scene will change that.โ a meltdown is completely different. itโs more like โeverything around me has become too overwhelming, confusing and impossible to process, and my brain doesnโt know what to do with any of it.โ thereโs no strategy behind it. sometimes youโre not trying to get anything from anyone. youโre just overloaded and trying to survive the moment.

researchers scanned men and women's brains during exposure to erotic stimuli and found a fundamental architectural difference.
men's arousal circuits are overwhelmingly visual. women's arousal circuits are significantly more auditory and contextual. and this single finding explains why the silent man in bed is operating at a fraction of his potential.
the study used fMRI to map which brain regions activated during different types of erotic input. men showed massive activation in the visual cortex regardless of input type. women showed greater activation in the auditory processing centers, the language areas, and the contextual evaluation regions (prefrontal cortex and insula). the female arousal network evaluates what she hears and the meaning behind it as much as what she sees or feels.
this means your voice during sex is not background noise. it is a primary arousal input being processed by dedicated neural circuitry. the words you say, the sounds you make, and the tone of your voice are stimulating brain regions that physical touch alone cannot reach. silence leaves those regions unstimulated. you are operating with one input channel when two are available.
what works according to the research and reports from women: affirmation of her body ("you feel incredible"), narration of what you're doing or about to do ("I'm going to..."), responsive sounds that signal your own arousal (don't suppress the sounds you naturally make), and specific verbal acknowledgment of her responses ("I can feel you...").
what doesn't work: scripted lines that sound rehearsed, language that feels degrading unless she's specifically communicated that preference, and overproduction that turns authentic expression into performance. the brain's contextual evaluation regions (prefrontal cortex) are active during female arousal. she can detect inauthenticity because the same brain region that processes arousal also processes social deception.
the simplest high impact change most men can make is to stop being silent. not to perform. not to narrate like a sports commentator. just to let the sounds and words that naturally arise actually come out instead of suppressing them. her brain is literally waiting for auditory input that you're withholding.

A man told me women need to stop being so independent because men like to feel needed. I said, โThen learn how to be useful instead of asking women to become helpless just to feed your self-esteem.โ He left me on read. I hope he heals or not. ๐

People love saying โmental health mattersโ until someone is struggling right in front of them. suddenly itโs silence, awkwardness, jokes, and everyone pretending not to notice. hardly anyone checks in, listens, or stays close when it actually matters. then tragedy happens, and suddenly everyone has memories, sympathy, and something to say. care about people while theyโre still here and hurting, not once the damage is already done.
