SendCutSend went from a hobby to making 50 million metal parts per year. It just raised another $140 million to keep expanding.
I spent a couple of days with its founder @jimbelosic at the Reno headquarters and factories and his childhood home. Big ole story on what I discovered right here - corememory.com/p/sendcutsend…

Yesterday, I visited a friend’s workshop.
He showed me a stack of metal and said “oh man, this company, @sendcutsend, is sooo awesome.”
I asked what he liked about them.
He said “they’re super fast, consistent, and always send candy with every order.”
The speed and consistency made him happy but the candy and soon these stickers make him a fan.
it’s that time again. We need new sticker designs! Send us your best entries, no AI slop: sendcutsend.com/sticker-cont…
If we like your design you’ll win some monies

We are now entering into an era where any product can be created exactly to a consumer's preferences & needs.
I vibe-fabricated a dog door with a wifi-controlled lock, perfectly to the specifications & design of my house.
I know nothing about metal fabrication or electrical engineering.
It's now getting manufactured and delivered in 2 weeks -- for almost the same cost if I bought a mass-produced item off-the-shelf.

Earlier this year, bae and I built a guitar from scratch.
The body (ash) was routed, stained and coated in my Brooklyn bathroom.
The pickguard (Aluminium) & electronics assembly cut from CAD by @sendcutsend; all electronics from industrial hardware.
Gold foil pickups, bc why not
Wow, a photo, some dimensions (ai chat) on @sendcutsend has built the part. Ordering now. This is the worse it will ever be.
