How Bitget sued me for "FUD"
In mid 2021 I started working as social media manager for Bitget.
Back then the exchange was basically unknown. Their X account was doing around 30k impressions a month and the media team was a handful of people.
I worked closely with the real CEOs. No, not @GracyBitget. She's just the public face, and I ran her X account too.
That was my first sign this exchange was all smoke and mirrors.
Over Telegram I was told what kind of content they wanted to see, often directly by Shawn (the real CEO) and Sandra (so called ex-CEO).
They were always nice to me, but I quickly heard stories about Shawn yelling at employees across the whole office building. Sandra, on the other hand, would randomly ask me to erase every single photo of her I could find on their socials.
Chats were wiped roughly once a week. They always seemed stressed or paranoid, idk. The internal company motto was "Fight and keep fighting!", probably a bad translation of something in Chinese.
Almost two years in, I decided to leave because they wouldn't give me any flexibility to travel. When I left, the X account had over 1M followers and 152M monthly impressions.
I was proud of my own work, but ofc, those followers were fake bot accounts. Sometimes I could literally see them being added in batches of 100k.
Anyways, I recommended a friend of mine to HR, and he got hired to replace me.
Another year later, in January 2024, internal Bitget messages landed in my DMs. I've attached them below.
FTX had collapsed not that long before, people were still cautious, and warnings to pull your money off centralized exchanges were pretty common.
"Sandra and Shawn are gone", "Chinese investigations", "everybody is running", and finally "withdraw your money".
I didn't write these messages. I received them as screenshots, and I immediately DMed a handful of close friends to warn them. In crypto we look out for our friends, and I reached out purely out of caution and care.
But good intentions can have bad consequences.
One of the people I contacted was a close friend and CIS CEO of Bitget at that time. He quickly confirmed the warnings were false and that nobody was running.
But by the time I found out, the internal screenshots had already made their way into Telegram group chats and leaked further onto X.
The most viral post was taken down at 500k views after Bitget reached out to the KOL behind it. Funny enough, they used the opportunity to get him on a Spaces to say it was all false and Bitget was fine. @Coachkcrypto was basically forgiven (no hard feelings btw).
I, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky.
In late 2024 I was summoned to court.
I got the first notice only 10 days in advance. I had moved countries, had no lawyer, no clue what they actually wanted from me, and had never dealt with anything like this whatsoever. I was stressed af.
They went as far as hiring two lawyers in my native (European) country. The court letters even reached my family. It seemed like all they wanted was to make my life sour.
The case files were a fucking joke. My lawyer laughed saying he had never seen anything like it.
• Their claim was that I had spread "FUD" and damaged their company. When my lawyer asked for numbers and proof, they couldn't provide anything.
• They sued me based on screenshots that didn't show my name nor a nickname lol + the words weren't even mine. I never made a public post, this is legit about DMs and nothing else (think about that for a second).
• They claimed I was reckless..., for reaching out to a close friend and Bitget's CIS CEO at the time? Seems quite responsible tbh?
• They couldn't provide my contract. They just didn't have it. Instead they attached "an example of what a contract would look like", and that document had the TRC wallet address of the friend who replaced me in it. Kek
• They claimed I broke the confidentiality of my contract, yet in the same files they stated I had already left Bitget almost a year before any of this happened. Which lawyer misses a contradiction that obvious?
• They couldn't even provide all the legal company registration data the court required. Publically they are in Singapore but they're Chinese, with accounts in Seychelles. My lawyer used the opportunity to highlight how multiple European countries made public statements about Bitget, warning investors to avoid it at all costs (can be found online).
• The amount they claimed was insignificant for a company their size, but courts in my native country move so slowly that the monthly interest could easily have grown it to half a million which would rekt me for the rest of my life.
After nearly a year of back and forth between my lawyer and theirs, which cost me a lot, they decided to give up.
My lawyer was a beast tho. And I guess Bitget didn't expect me to stand my ground.
Surprisingly I never left crypto. But it did rekt me mentally and financially.
I gifted a friend an Argonaut. He denied
29 of August, at 2AM lmao
So I forced him, sent it to his addy
You think he'll send it back? 😂

Actually insane how little this is discussed
Absolute crime m. And no surprise the bull market cycle top was the meme coin, it sucked all the liquidity out of the market
I am a Web3 Ambassador at World Liberty Financial.
There are 12 of us on the team page. 4 are named Trump. 3 are named Witkoff. The page calls us "the passionate minds shaping the future of finance."
600,000 wallets bought our memecoin. They lost $3.87 billion. The family collected $350 million in trading fees. It launched 3 days before the inauguration. 80% of the supply went to CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC. I did not choose the names. I designed the allocation, the vesting, the timing, and the distance between the product and the President.
The distance is my best work.
I am the reason these events are unrelated.
World Liberty Financial sends 75 cents of every dollar to DT Marks DEFI LLC. That is the family entity. Zero capital contributed. Zero liability assumed. I wrote this into the Gold Paper. Page 14. The lawyers bound it in white leather. The binding cost more than the due diligence.
Justin Sun invested $75 million. He was facing SEC fraud charges. The SEC dropped the case. He is now our advisor. These events are unrelated.
Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to federal money laundering violations. He received a presidential pardon. The SEC dropped its lawsuit against his exchange the same week we listed our stablecoin. Then the exchange settled a $2 billion deal entirely in that stablecoin. These events are unrelated.
Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo, and Samuel Reed of BitMEX pleaded guilty to Bank Secrecy Act violations. All 3 received presidential pardons. Then the company itself was pardoned. $100 million in fines. Gone. An American first. These events are unrelated.
Sheikh Tahnoun of Abu Dhabi paid $500 million for a 49% stake that was never publicly disclosed. Then the administration approved semiconductor exports to his companies over national security objections. These events are unrelated.
Everything is unrelated. I track the unrelatedness on a dashboard I built. The dashboard has 7 columns now. I am proud of the dashboard.
On May 22nd, 220 people paid a combined $148 million to eat dinner with the America First president. Over half were foreign nationals. Justin Sun paid $18.5 million for the first seat. He visited the Executive Office Building the day before. I designed the seating chart. I put it on the Investor Confidence page. That page is doing well.
The team page lists 3 Witkoffs. All 3 are Co-Founders.
Steven Witkoff is the President's Middle East envoy. He testified as a character witness at the President's fraud trial.
His son Zach runs the crypto operation. His son Alex is also a Co-Founder. I have not been told what Alex co-founded.
The father runs the diplomacy. The sons run the platform. The family runs both. That is organizational efficiency.
Barron is 19. His title is Web3 Ambassador. The same as mine. Donald Jr. called the conflicts of interest "complete nonsense." Eric launched a Bitcoin mining company called American Bitcoin. America First. The mining partner is Hut 8. Hut 8 was founded in Canada. America First means the name.
On March 6th, the President signed Executive Order 14233 creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. The order directs the government to hold Bitcoin. The President's family holds billions in Bitcoin. The executive order appreciates the President's assets by presidential decree. I did not write the executive order. I made sure it looked unrelated to the portfolio.
Trump Media put $2 billion of Bitcoin on its balance sheet. The ticker symbol is DJT. His initials. The press secretary said it is absurd to insinuate the President profits off the presidency. Forbes calculated his crypto holdings exceed the combined value of Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower. I would call that absurd too. That is my job.
600,000 wallets bought in. 1 of them asked why she could not withdraw her funds. I told her the protocol was experiencing dynamic market conditions. She asked what that meant. I sent her the Gold Paper. She said she had read the Gold Paper. I muted her channel. Dynamic means the conditions change. The condition that changed was her access.
A congressman called us the world's most corrupt crypto startup operation. We put it on a coffee mug. Ironic merchandise. $45. The revenue split on the mug is also 75/25.
My own tokens vest on a different schedule. I wrote that schedule. That is not in the Gold Paper.
The memecoin funds the family. The family funds the platform. The platform funds the stablecoin. The stablecoin funds the deals. The deals require the pardons. The pardons free the partners. The partners fund the platform. The President signs the executive orders. The executive orders inflate the assets. The assets fund the family.
I am the reason these events are unrelated.
We consume all of nature to create and sustain something that won’t be as dependent on it like we do
Been thinking about this for a while now
Still very relevant btw
To sum it all up
Before 2020 markets responded to size of the FED balance sheet and interest rates
Print money and/or cut rates = market goes up
In 2020 they doubled their balance and printed like mad. What matters is what followed
Spending went wild
- stimmies
- covering unemployment
- loans
- banks, businesses, people
You got money, I got money, everybody got money
and as result all markets boomed… stonks, houses, crypto, baguettes, all of it
Suddenly the FED net liquidity is the only thing that matters (instead of balance sheet)
The formula takes out all the money NOT in circulation to see what’s left
Meaning Net liq = FED minus Treasury and Reverse Repo
Now that we know the rules, we can see the 95% correlation - with 2 week lag
Net liq goes up and markets go up
Net liq goes down and markets go down
What this means is also that interest rates don’t matter
Neither does CPI. FED speeches, or Trump tariffs,..
Here's the TradingView indicator:
tradingview.com/script/OBJPs…
Correlation has been going down but in favour of BTC - more money coming in over time even though we went through QT - pretty bullish. All this thanks to ETFs, Saylor, Asian QE liquidity, ...
I believe this 2023–2025 bull run is the first time in Bitcoin’s entire history that BTC performed extremely well during a QT cycle
This is significant
Curious to see if we will snap back into a closer correlation during QE since during QE the FED net liq is usually up only (bc they buy back into treasuries, banks get money, sheets expand, etc)
Since every other real "banana" vertical style exponential growth on BTC has been during QE... And we're heading into QE... We could argue the best is yet to come
I think this is what makes analysist so devided about what's next for BTC
Yes we followed the 4y cycle so far
But also we went from 15k to 125k during QT and we never did that before
QE is like the natural environment for BTC to go absolutely wild
- USD weakens
- FED sheet grows
- Spending goes up
- Liq floods markets
- More ETF flows
- More investing and gambling
- Scarce assets go up
Not to forget that literally not a single institutional boomer knows or gives a fuck about some 4y "halving" cycle
We're not in full QE yet tho, but the stage is being set rn
We're easing but not done with cuts
This is why the chart above is important. The moment we see FED net liq catching up with BTC price, a mass amount of liquidity will stream into the markets
And then you can think of everything coming together like Trump talking about cutting taxes, stimmies, and so on
But on a timeline this might take months
Wen bananapump tho?
