This first Muzukulu Mrs Natasha’s son is a true definition of “Omuyilibi” hustler

Damon Wayans says that even at 65 years old, if Keenen tells him to get him a soda, he's going to go get it, because in their family, it’s all about an unspoken code of respect, seniority, and brotherly hierarchy.
“Yeah, but like even now, this is how my family is. Like, I'm 65 years old and Keenen goes, "Go get me a soda," and I got to go get it.”
“If Marlon walks in a room, and you know, if I walk in a room and there's no seats, Marlon gets up. Sean and Keenen will sit, and Marlon will get up and say, "You sit here." And my son will have to do the same thing.”
“That's why I love the fact that they have children. Because I go to my theater sometimes and little Damon's there and Mikey's there, and as soon as I walk in the room, the youngest one gets up and lets me sit down without question, and I love that.”
“It's just how we do with each other. It's just a quiet code. Some things you don't have to teach, it's just what you see.”

Make national clean-up every day
'If we are waiting for the Government to keep making us clean up and do sensible things, then the Government needs to ramp up the messaging, awareness and education to run from right after the last National Cleaning Day to the start of the next one,' ✍️writes @skaheru

4. The call to the Board is clear: do not leave this mandate to goodwill alone.
- Make firm commitments.
- Open doors.
- Mobilize resources.
- Champion malaria elimination within your institutions and networks. Every malaria death is a future lost.

Malaria is more than a health challenge. It costs lives, keeps children out of school, reduces workforce productivity and drains household incomes.
Ending malaria is an investment in Uganda’s people, businesses and national economy.

A hater you ignore gets louder... like @BBCAfrica. They keep shouting, cooking up scary stories, and dragging Uganda through the mud. A barking dog can disturb the village all night, but it still can’t stop the sun from rising. A dog barking at a moving car is still just a dog. 📷 @skaheru
Nigeria says its first Ebola patient in the current outbreak holidayed in Uganda for two and a half weeks before returning via Ethiopia.
But Uganda says she only passed through after visiting DR Congo. Where she contracted the virus remains unclear. bbc.in/4yvjnnP

This week, I commissioned military facilities and equipment at Kalama, Entebbe, Kalangalo and Magamaga under our defence cooperation with Russia.
I thank President Putin and the Russian people for this support, including the $53 million mechanised repair facility at Magamaga. We must not only acquire good equipment but also learn to maintain, repair and eventually manufacture it here. I have encouraged our military to embrace science and technology, including AI and automation, to strengthen our defence capabilities.
Our cooperation with Russia should help us build local capacity, protect our sovereignty and strengthen our ability to defend Uganda.
