Free, no sign-in: the SkillPlug weekly planner. Pick a preset (preclinical, clerkship, or dedicated), check off tasks, rename them, reorder the week, and keep countdowns to your exam dates in front of you. skillplug.io/planner?utm_sou…
Dedicated is the wrong time to test a brand new workflow every week. Pick one system, let it track your progress, and spend your willpower on questions instead of planning about planning.
Pack spotlight: Residency Application. 39 sub-skills covering away rotations, application build, letters, program list and signals, September submission, interview season, rank list, and SOAP. Built on AAMC and NRMP data for the 2026-27 cycle. $59. skillplug.io/packs?utm_sourc…
One giant prompt fails for the same reason one giant study session fails: too much at once, nothing retained, no structure. Systems win. Small skills, clear phases, tracked progress.
The weekly review is the highest leverage 20 minutes in a study week. Here is the exact loop the free SkillPlug planner runs.
Step four: close the loop. End the week by checking what got done and carrying the misses forward on purpose, with a reason, instead of discovering them again next week.
The free Weekly Planner skill runs this loop inside ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and keeps the record in a dashboard you own. Free download: skillplug.io/planner?utm_sou…
Pack spotlight: the Step 2 CK system. 32 skills built for shelf prep and dedicated study, with progress, weak areas, and question performance tracked across the whole arc instead of living in five different notebooks. $29. skillplug.io/packs?utm_sourc…
Question for anyone studying right now: what is the one thing you wish your AI assistant remembered between sessions? Replies here shape what we build next.
November starts today. What is the one study habit you want to carry into the new month — and the one you want to leave behind?
When a question block feels shaky, start with the explanation, not the next block. Write down why the right answer is right and why your answer was wrong, then move on. That one habit turns a weak topic into a reviewable note.
The weekend is where a study week is won or lost. Plan Saturday's block tonight — questions, review, and rest — so you start with structure, not a decision. Free planner: skillplug.io/planner?utm_sou…
Pack spotlight: the Step 1 system. 39 skills organized across every phase of prep, from first pass to dedicated, with a memory file that tracks your progress over months instead of resetting every chat. $29. skillplug.io/packs?utm_sourc…
Quick test of whether your AI setup is a system or a pile of prompts: ask it what you worked on last Tuesday. If it cannot answer, it has no memory. SkillPlug packs fix that with a state file your assistant updates at the end of every session.
Free planner for med school weeks. Pick a preclinical, clerkship or dedicated week and it's already filled in: Anki, lectures, qbank blocks, reviewing your misses, even a rest day. No signup, and everything saves in your browser. skillplug.io/planner?utm_sou…

As a medical student, I was taught that every new LBBB is an acute MI until proven otherwise...
This makes me wonder: shouldn't every patient ideally have a baseline/previous ECG accessible to make this diagnosis easier for healthcare providers
I have a medical page... Why does X still treat me as a journalist? 😃
Btw guys...
Two days ago, I read an informative post saying that not every LBBB is an acute MI.
The case depends on the patient's history and whether the ST elevation is isoelectric or straight

ECG From Scratch #63: Pulmonary Embolism
Can an ECG diagnose pulmonary embolism (PE)?
Not reliably. But it can reveal clues to acute right ventricular overload.
Key findings:
🟨 Sinus tachycardia
🟦 S₁Q₃T₃ pattern
⬛ T-wave inversion in V₁–V₃
🟪 Right axis deviation
⬜ New RBBB
🟥 P pulmonale
⚠️ Remember: S₁Q₃T₃ is neither sensitive nor specific. A normal or nonspecific ECG does NOT exclude PE.
Always integrate ECG findings with clinical probability and appropriate imaging.
