Our flat tenant in Patna has not paid rent for over 6 months, is refusing to vacate, and has allegedly engaged in various misconduct and threatened my parents. Despite seeking help, we have received no effective assistance.

As we approach the start of the @IndSuperLeague as chairman of @bengalurufc and of @MGMotorIn it gives me great pleasure to announce that MG will be the title sponsor of the ISL. Indian sport and particularly Indian football has always been dear to my heart and to the heart of every JSWite. To see one of my companies now support Indian football in this manner fills me with great pride. This season as you all know hits different, we clubs now run and own the league and all of us fans will dictate how Indian football grows. For me as for all Indian fans the dream remains to see India play the FIFA World Cup. For MG which is redefining electric mobility in India this is indeed a great opportunity to shape the worlds most popular sport in our beloved country. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all @IndSuperLeague clubs the very best for the season. Lets make it ELECTRIC - pun intended @jswsports @TheJSWGroup

It takes a lot to be a stakeholder in Indian football. It has been like that for some time now. But when everything around looks like it will crumble, you bank on family to hold on to each other. And more often than not, it is the elders in the house that you turn to, for assurance. All of you at the TATA Group, through TFA first, and then @JamshedpurFC, have been one of our pillars.
To know that Jamshedpur has folded first team operations is a punch to the gut. The players and staff will be without clubs, and they might find one by the end of it all. The League will have a team less, but the season will go on. However, not having the TATA group involved in the top tier of Indian football - that would be a disaster with no alternative.
I understand that some tough decisions in sport are down to what makes sense in the board room. But I can only request and hope that the think tank at TATA picks their heart over head and reconsiders this call. It might be a poor business decision, but it will be the one Indian football needs the most at this hour. – at Bengaluru South, India

The league will receive US$1.5 million (₹15 crore) per season, around 21% more than the previous full-season agreement. #IndianFootball @KhelNow

On my latest podcast featuring Ashish Negi and Pradhyum Reddy, one of the discussions led to a legal notice being served to me over approximately three minutes of the conversation, during which a guest expressed his opinion on a matter concerning Indian football.
Chakde Football has always stood for open discussions conducted in good faith. As a platform, we have consistently respected the right to freedom of speech and expression guaranteed under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution of India.
Every conversation hosted on this platform is intended to encourage the exchange of ideas on matters of public interest, not to defame or maliciously target any individual or organisation.
Despite this, I received a legal notice over a guest's opinion. While I believe discussions and differing viewpoints are a natural part of any healthy sporting ecosystem, I also understand the practical realities of legal proceedings.
To avoid being drawn into prolonged litigation, I have removed the portion referred to in the notice from the video. This decision should not be interpreted as an admission of wrongdoing, but as a practical step to avoid unnecessary legal complications.
As a young independent creator working in Indian football, I have always kept this platform open to people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and opinions. I believe conversations—even uncomfortable ones—are essential if Indian football is to progress.
What is disappointing is the growing tendency to respond to opinions through legal notices instead of open dialogue. If public figures and organisations are willing to express their own views across various platforms, they should also be prepared to face scrutiny, criticism, or differing opinions in return. That is how healthy public discourse works.
This is not just about one video or one legal notice. It raises a larger question: what kind of environment are we creating for independent creators, journalists, and people who wish to contribute to Indian football through honest discussion? A culture where legal action becomes the first response to criticism risks discouraging meaningful conversations that are in the public interest.
Chakde Football will continue to promote respectful, good-faith discussions while acting responsibly within the framework of the law. I remain committed to creating a platform where ideas can be exchanged freely, respectfully, and without fear.

For all the talk about youth development, coming up with absurd criterion for not giving them chance is another challenge. I don't know if women's team is also being not sent but overall this is Nadir moment for #IndianFootball

Well..he is spot on! The AIFF Technical Committee is shambolic. Living Dinosaurs. You can't have good people around if they continue.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 on and teams like Haiti, Cape Verde leaving their mark on the biggest stage, a question persists!
If they can, why not India?

🚨 EXCLUSIVE | Shillong Lajong FC have formally written to AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey, urging the federation to protect the integrity of India’s promotion and relegation system amid the uncertainty surrounding Diamond Harbour FC’s participation in the upcoming ISL season.
The Meghalaya-based club has strongly opposed retaining relegated teams without sporting merit and has proposed a double-legged play-off to determine any vacant ISL spot fairly on the pitch.
Shillong Lajong stated that rewarding sporting excellence and preserving the league pyramid is essential for the growth of Indian football.
⚽ A major development that could shape the future of Indian football’s promotion and relegation structure.
