Breaking: Jonathan Miller, the Libertarian Party nominee for a Cary state senate seat, was taken into custody this afternoon with no shots fired. #ncpol
He called WRAL during the standoff and spoke about what happened.
This is honestly what I’ve come to expect from the new wave of libertarians.
@Kronykal you seeing this shit?

I got six of these things for $500 at auction. They show up on auction sites every once in awhile as iherb ir600. 600 kg payload, all stepper based, height adjustable turntable, and a reasonably sized Linux computer on board that's very easy to work with. Took less than 30 minutes to get a phone remote control ui working.
All the internals are off the shelf including the battery pack & bms which was super nice.

People asked about the slides and cabinets: the slides are GTV H53, and I designed and built the cabinets myself. The pull-out shelves let me work behind my 3D printers. #3DPrinting

We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too.
We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries.
That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next.
Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells.
Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it.

At some point you, as an IT person, have to ask yourself the question “could someone at work beat the shit out of me in front of 50 of our coworkers and nobody would claim to have seen anything?”

Cyberpunk 2077 got a big update today and it significantly changed the HDR implementation.
See my new/updated HDR analysis and setup guide on my website. Link in next post.
I found more potential issues on PS5 than I initial saw, so I deleted a post I did earlier. I will make a separate analysis/guide for PS5 when I have had time to look further into it.
My analysis is therefore only for PC, where I did the main analysis work.
I think HDR can look pretty good on PC, if you know how to set it up properly. But the default settings look really bad, and that is unfortunately what most is going to use.
You can't setup HDR properly without HDR analysis tools, and that should of course not be needed.
I don't know why its so difficult for CD Project Red to implement HDR properly. We just got a very bad HDR implementation in Witcher 3 Remaster and now we get this updated HDR in Cyberpunk that has a very un-intuitive HDR setup and output, with very bad default settings.

21 years ago I named "Reddit" and everyone said it was a horrible name, but I insisted one day people would say "I read it on reddit" and used my CEO-privilege to overrule everyone + kept the name. Now the company twitter account (unbeknownst to them) is making the joke. Heh.
I am opposed to outsourcing my rights.
