Most people in France can't afford housing. They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast. They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.

A good rule of history: if you find yourself opposing a student movement while siding with the ruling class, you're wrong. Every time, in every era, whatever the issue.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Student movements have not always been on the right side of history. Mao's student Red Guards persecuted hundreds of thousands. Students helped Castro and Khomeini rise to power, and Nazi student groups opposed the Weimar Republic. britannica.com/topic/Red-Guar… encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/art… aei.org/education/actu…

What a real shame you are to this nation, @DelhiPolice! Choking, scratching, and kicking female @NSUI student with heavy boots in broad daylight just because they dared to raise their voices against vote chori? You hide behind uniforms and state power to inflict physical violence and grotesque humiliation on young women who pose no threat to anyone. Day after day, your bosses preach hypocritical nonsense about women's safety, respect, and protection, yet the exact second those same women demand democratic rights and accountability, you unleash your inner animals upon them. Dragging them by their hair, crushing them under heavy boots, and assaulting their bodily integrity exposes the absolute rot at the heart of this system. You really think a badge gives you a free pass to act like violent goon with absolute impunity? Suspensions and internal inquiries are a complete joke. Accountability isn't enough anymore every single officer involved in this cowardly assault needs to be fired and brought to justice .

I am raising investment for building a next generation AI lab from India. The vision is simple, build greater models for open community, the same way I built laya, the type 1 decision model that reached the global audience , what if we could build novel Recursive Language Models, Symbolic Reasoning Models. Maybe world models with physics engine, just like Vega series of decision model I recently launched. Like a next mistral from India or maybe more. If you are a VC or have connection, chat is open.
