to be clear I still like London a lot, have tons of friends there, and expect to visit many more times :) but it feels different (more stressful) to my nervous system than continental cities

I find a lot of London too grungy compared to Berlin! Really depends which area you spend your time in ig :) I really love the old continental vibe of Berlin. Reminds me of Helsinki

back in berlin after 7 weeks in london... londoners seem blind to the constant assaults on the senses. awful loud and cramped streets, the pubs, tube, even the canonical fairy detergent pods that every household has, which stinks up your home for days with a nasty chemical smell

...do you think I chose my partner because he "creates value?" he sees into my soul without flincing falls on his knees when I enter the room makes life feel like a painting If there's "value" beyond love this deep, I don't know it

yes I am obsessed with knitting and crochet! I have made a few sweaters too. I just finished knitting slippers for H and I'm hoping to knit a wrap cardigan like this as my next project (this is the Levitate Wrap on Ravelry)

2026: burn out, spend three months playing video games on a couch in brazil, come face to face with how much of my self worth is tied up with being "productive and successful", start letting go of professional identity, realise I have no idea what I *want* to spend my time doing,

start trying stuff, buy a sketchbook and start making art, post on twitter asking what the universe wants me to do, etc last night my tarot cards told me to be more grateful so I'll probably try that next

yes this is what I used to say, "like coffee or toffee", but people tended to put too much emphasis on the o and f and stretched out the ee too much... hopefully philosophy will work better 😤
