I get that. IC compared to other networks has unique characteristics such as its asynchronous execution environment that make it challenging to reason about, especially if you're not involved in it. Not sure if other firms would perform better because they are new to IC.
IC itself was audited in parts by Trail of Bits back in 2021-2022. But that was a 24 person-week endeavour with multiple researchers. And what they audited was the core protocol itself which runs in a different execution environment.

We're now reviewing the latest ICDex code commit to include their updates since the audit began, the final report will be published soon.
Fun Fact: The current audit report draft is ~10,989 words & ~60 pages long!

I'd be surprised if we don't see a major #ICP defi hack this year. It also won't be a type of exploit ever seen in Web3 before.
This is part of pushing new tech boundaries, so when it eventually happens don't let it get you down.
