#HelpMore Live in Kansas and have an HOA? Here’s something knowing about political yard signs. 🪧 Our neighborhood recently received a reminder that our covenants only allow “for sale” signs. That led me to look into Kansas law. 😊 Turns out, K.S.A. 58-3820 says restrictive covenants and HOA’s cannot prohibit political yard signs smaller than six square feet during the 45 days before an election and two days afterward. For the November 3 election, that’s September 19 through November 5. I don’t have a sign out yet, but I plan to get one. And whether we agree politically or not, I support our neighbors being able to share their views, too.
