Seeing people dropping like flies. Settling, light gone behind the eyes, spark gone, mundane auto-pilot comfort seeking routines (with a good dose of escapism), dreams dead and passion gone. So sad. Need to Hold the line at ALL costs.

Idiots think "traveling" is a virtue or something special, like it's the pinnacle of human experience or achievement.
This isn't the 1700s. There's nothing inherently difficult, special, or impressive about traveling anymore.
It's just another form of consumption, like watching TV.
For a lot of people, it's just an excuse to avoid developing any genuine intellectual curiosity, mastering something, or building anything real.
They confuse consuming experiences with actually accomplishing something.
Fuck traveling. There's nothing to see, nowhere to go. Especially nowadays, when the entire world is converging into one giant monoculture.

I think they're being generous when they say "most men die at 25.." - the death valley period is 16-21 actually for a huge majority. That, if they had something to lose in the first place.

You’re either going for your dreams or giving up on your dreams
There is no space in between those two choices

if you are a modern man, your entire existence up until about 23 was designed specifically to castrate you into soul-less submission so you popped out of it all like just another copy-and-paste consumptive cog with no ability to say no or think for yourself. A shell of what they used to be, stuck in a hypnotic-haze of unconsciously policing anyone who 'steps out of line' without any conscious thought. This is why 99% of dudes just reside there & don't make it back out. They just complain to the tune of nobody listening.
the re-frame is realizing there is nothing *wrong with you* if you find yourself there. is actually the opposite. You're like 'why can't i do x,y,z'? but It is because you were flattened by a system within a society that also flattens & continues to flatten you. Your parents contributed, your teachers contributed, it *all* contributed. The darkside of 'functioning society' is it has to flatten out the edges not explode. So by design, your essence was 'systematically targeted' to get ripped off if it ever showed itself
That is actually a non-issue, because you are a being who can adapt to all things. You must re-claim yourself. The issue is STAYING there, and confusing environment with *who you are*
So simply understand your circumstance, and fix yourself NOW, and you will get where you need to go

C.S. Lewis, our desires are far too weak

ALT It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.
Many predators that hunt fail to catch prey more than they succeed.
The golden eagle fails up to 80% of the time.
But it does not stop. It cannot stop. It has to keep trying and it eventually it succeeds. It does not give up. Because to give up is to die.
you can smash organic channels with DR big myth that have to be seperate and DR only for paid ads or retargeting
🎯🎯🎯
Lol race to the bottom, they just own the performance marketing game yet at the same time have a 4.6 TP score.
I'd argue that brands that solely rely on hype from organic content (just pushing videos for likes) will always fade away in the end because 1. it's not reliable 2. there will always be new "cooler" brands that ppl will switch to.
CRACKING your performance funnel is one of the best ways to build a brand, just make sure your product, email, community building etc. are good as well.
Done with ppl saying you can't build a "brand" with ads.
"Most men die at 25, we just bury them at 72"
I think one of the greatest tragedies in life is how early people begin negotiating DOWN their ambitions.
At 15, they want to conquer the world.
At 25, they want to be comfortable.
At 35, they just want to make it through the fucking week.
What happened?
At what point did you decide that the extraordinary was no longer available to you?
There is something DIVINE about the human impulse to ascend. To reach beyond everything you presently know yourself to be.
The ancient theologians called the highest heaven THE EMPYREAN.
I think every man ought to have an empyrean of his own. Some magnificent ideal, so impossibly high that its pursuit demands the COMPLETE transformation of his character.
Jim Rohn used to say, "I recommend each of you to make it a goal of yours, to become a millionaire. Not for the money, for what becoming a millionaire will make of you!"
Most of you, sad to say, are shooting far, far under what you're capable of. It's no wonder you're not excited by it.
And the really tragic thing is that you have mistaken this absence of excitement for some deficiency in your own character.
Yall niggas, think something is wrong with you.
You think you need more discipline.
Or maybe, it's that you don't have enoughn "motivation."
Or that perhaps the answer is some new routine to drag yourself out of bed in the morning.
When the REAL problem is that the future you're working toward is nowhere near magnificent enough to COMMAND your FULL ATTENTION.
Give yourself something worth becoming OBSESSED with.
Something that makes the sacrifices seem trivial. Something that demands more of you than you have ever demanded of yourself.
Something that frightens you a little, for God's sake!
You may never reach the summit.
But GOOD GOD, look at what you might become in the climbing.
Three quotes for your contemplation:
1) Ralph Waldo Emerson,
"Hitch your wagon to a star!"
2) Robert Browning,
"Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp, Or what's a heaven for?"
3) Napoleon,
"Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools!"
what does success of wisprflow, higgsfield etc show.
ppl cant be arsed to vibe code ghetto versions of full tools with dedicated teams focussed on them, with complete feature sets, training wheels, backend reliability etc.

silicon valley is so obsessed with AI automating everything that they've completely lost touch with the point of life
just because you *can* use AI for something doesn't mean you *should*
otherwise you're robbing your soul of the most enjoyable things in life
> just because AI can generate a song in 10 seconds doesn't mean you shouldn't still learn to play piano
> just because AI can write doesn't mean you should use ChatGPT for your wedding vows or your mom's birthday card
> just because AI can plan every hour of your Japan trip doesn't mean you should skip getting lost in the back streets of Tokyo
> just because AI can translate the menu doesn't mean you shouldn't learn Italian for the pure joy of it
> just because AI can summarize a 400-page novel doesn't mean you shouldn't read it the way the author actually intended
i think the happiest people in the AI era will be the ones with the taste to know when not to use it
AI should cure cancer and do your taxes.
it should NOT be reading your kid a bedtime story

On Oct 9, 1903, a New York Times op-ed predicted how long it would take for humanity to build a flying machine:
> “It might be assumed that the flying machine which will really fly might be evolved by the combined and continuous efforts of mathematicians and mechanicians in from one million to ten million years”
69 days later, the Wright brothers built the first flying machine, and 11 years later airplanes were good enough to be used in World War I for reconnaissance, to drop bombs, an even to shoot machine guns with bullets precisely times to release between propeller blades.
Thing is, predicting “we won’t fly” was right for thousands of years. And then it wasn’t.
This was a great prediction for most of humanity’s existence. If you were a betting person, you would take the “won’t fly” bet, and you’d win almost all the time.
But also, you’ll never create anything new, you’ll never encourage those who are trying to create something new, and later on, you’ll be seen as being on the wrong side of history.
So you can be right and stagnant, or often wrong but at least trying to do something, and occasionally, when you’re right, it’s worth more than all the may-sayers combined, across thousands of years.
It’s the “person in the arena” again and again. Get in there, and don’t listen to those who say it’s folly, even if they turn out to be right…. this time…

100. They take what the tech nerds want us to have as gospel inevitable -glasses, VR and augmented reality hasn't worked yet. What happened to 3D TVs and holograms, metaverse? They said we'd be in flying cars by now, yet we're still staring at small screens same as 20 years ago.
