Absolutely INCORRECT. Haitian Creole & Louisiana Creole are sister languages bc they were both derived from French colonialism & developed in parallel, but one is influenced by West Africa & the other by Native Americans. Louisiana creole had already been developing 100 years before anyone from Saint Domingue ever stepped foot here.

What's funny is during chemo, she rarely ate unless it was @ChickfilA.
12 years later, she still orders the exact same meal, and the first job she wanted was with them. Pretty sure it's for the discount. 😂

🚨🚨HEARTWARMING UPDATE🚨🚨
Former #NFL defensive end Devon Still broke down in tears after seeing his daughter Leah working her FIRST JOB at Chick-fil-A this week.
Leah was diagnosed with cancer as a young child and underwent chemotherapy. During her treatments, she rarely wanted to eat anything unless it was Chick-fil-A.
Now, 12 years later, Leah is cancer-free and has started her first job at the very restaurant that helped her get through those difficult days.
Devon shared that he pulled up to pick her up from work and saw her helping a customer. He immediately became emotional.
“Now I’m sitting in the car with tears pouring down my face.”
Still also revealed that doctors once told him how far Leah’s cancer had spread, and he began accepting the possibility that she might not survive.
“To go from that to this, I can’t explain what I’m feeling. Just know I’m grateful.”
Leah still orders the exact same Chick-fil-A meal she loved during chemotherapy.
