My timeline is filled with Nebraska fans saying they “deserve better.” In no world does the Nebraska Cornhusker fanbase deserve better. For decades, they looked down on every other fanbase, mocked their programs, and acted like college football owed them something. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, they want sympathy. You don’t deserve success simply because you used to have it. Humility would’ve gone a long way.
