Happy 4th of July FB Friends and Family. Oh and from now until November, fight to protect Democracy and our Independence by voting for #BidenHarris2024. That is all.
In Chicago for the marathon with @MrSquidRunner. First stop today was to get our transit passes. Imagine that 3-day passes for all transit for $15! Wow, wouldn’t that be amazing for tourists to CA or casual riders. CA really needs to seriously subsidize mass transit. #notrunning
I don’t get the chance to staff @TonyThurmond much these days, but when I do, it’s always an energizing & inspiring day. Started day with the incredible @BeyondDiff National Teen Board. These young leaders give me such hope. Capped the day with my Polynesian brothers & sisters❤️
Great celebration at Camp Unity, a summer camp focused on Polynesian Culture. We provided $4 billion to schools to support summer and after school efforts and other expanded learning programs to provide our students with enrichment, structured activities, and other supports to enhance their learning.
OMG! was today years old when I discovered Stuffed Cheesy Bread! Damn delicious, forget the pizza this stuff is the devil. @dominos @MrSquidRunner did enjoy the pizza though, Brooklyn style👍🏼
Congratulations Austin! Was great to spend some time with you all this morning along with State Superintendent @TonyThurmond!
Thanks for the invitation Harry! Inspiring day representing Superintendent @TonyThurmond and the @CADeptEd. The students were so engaged & showed incredible teamwork, problem solving & critical thinking skills. I was blown away by the teachers, students & administrators❤️
It is inspiring to partner with visionary leaders (Mary Nicely @squidnice, @barbnemko, @RedlandsUSDSupt, @SuptJimenezHLP) who believe in Engaging and Empowering All Students to Excel in Math and CS in close collaboration with @ucdcstem. bit.ly/3LxSif2
