Orthodox Muslim Shares His Take on Praying in Times Square in a Non-Muslim Country 👀
"If they don't want Muslims to get together to share their religion with people, then they shouldn't allow it. It's up to them. It's their country, their rules."

When I was married I learned a lesson about the difference between men and women’s brains. When describing a task, the majority of men would state the result of the task. For example: going to work, making dinner, replacing the hot water heater.
My ex wife and the majority of her friends mentally broke those events into minute tasks. For example: making dinner was broken down into determining meal, defrosting the meat, chopping each ingredient, etc.
When I made dinner she would claim I cut corners because I never verbally or emotionally broke it down. She would never acknowledge all the stress she placed on herself was self inflicted.

To the people of Saudi Arabia — from someone born and raised in the West:
Please, do not make the same mistake we made.
I grew up surrounded by Western culture. I have seen feminism presented as the ultimate path to women’s liberation, as though abandoning your traditions, your modesty, your family structures and your religious identity were the price of freedom. I know this ideology from the inside, and I beg you: do not confuse Westernization with liberation.
Look at the contradictions of Western society. Women are told they are empowered, yet an enormous industry profits from sexualizing their bodies, monetizing their insecurities and reducing their worth to beauty, youth and desirability. Families and communities have weakened, loneliness has become a profound social problem, and freedom is increasingly confused with individualism and consumption. These problems have many causes, but you should question a model that presents itself as the universal solution while refusing to acknowledge its own failures.
Remember Algeria. French colonial authorities understood that the veil was not merely a piece of clothing: it was a symbol of cultural identity and resistance. Colonial campaigns sought to unveil Algerian women under the language of emancipation, while colonial domination brought humiliation and sexual violence. Frantz Fanon examined this dynamic in A Dying Colonialism, showing how the colonial struggle over the veil was also a struggle over power, identity and control. When a powerful civilization claims that it alone knows how to liberate your women, ask yourselves: liberation for whom, and on whose terms?
The veil can be an expression of faith, dignity, modesty and resistance to a world that turns women into objects of consumption. A woman who chooses to cover herself is not oppressed; she may be asserting that her body does not exist for the approval or desire of strangers. A woman does not become free by unveiling, just as she does not become free simply by covering. Her dignity must never be measured by how closely she resembles a Western ideal. Defend her right to wear the veil without shame, discrimination or pressure to abandon it.
To the Saudis and Saudi women in particular: you do not have to reject education, scientific progress or women’s dignity to preserve your Islamic heritage. You can modernize without erasing yourselves, empower women without teaching them to despise their traditions, and improve society without blindly importing another civilization’s ideology. A tradition protected through conviction is stronger than one imposed through fear.
I am not asking you to reject every change or pretend that every inherited custom is perfect. I am asking you to reject the false choice between oppression and Westernization. Do not surrender your identity to earn the approval of people who consider your civilization backward simply because it follows different values.
I tell you this as someone who has witnessed the West from within: learn from the world, but do not blindly imitate it. Protect your families, your faith, your cultural inheritance and the dignity of women who choose modesty. The greatest victory of cultural domination is not when a people are conquered by force, but when they begin to believe that becoming someone else is the only way to be free.
Saudi Arabia, preserve what is precious before you are persuaded that you should be ashamed of it.

I’ve been wanting to say this for a while, but I’m glad people are starting to see what I was talking about. I feel like a lot of Japanese people were so quick to assume that it was mostly Black and Arab immigrants/refugees burning, rioting, and looting in France, which is why they were so angry in the first place. They were acting like Black and Arab people were destroying France and its white culture, without even realizing that white French people were also involved in the protests.
And honestly, I feel like this is exactly why some of them got so offended when they saw people carrying the One Piece flag or that African protester dressed as a Dragon Ball Z character. They already had this image in their heads of who was responsible for the protests, and seeing people they associated with that image using anime and manga they grew up with seemed to make them even angrier.
What’s funny is that a couple of months ago, I saw some of these same people praising Trump and ICE, saying Japan and other Western countries should adopt Trump’s immigration policies and start deporting people and putting innocent people in camps.
i'm sorry but the japanese were literally singling out immigrants and muslims, pushing racist and xenophobic narratives because they were offended that a fictional anime flag was being used as a symbol of resistance, and dismissing why people were protesting in the first place. so why are we reframing the whole thing as if the french and everyone else just got petty for no fucking reason?

Hello everyone, it has been a long time...
For the past few months, many of you have probably wondered what happened to us. Why we suddenly went quiet, why the updates stopped, and whether we had finally given up on this crazy idea.
The truth is, we never stopped.
Behind the scenes, we were working on something that demanded far more time, patience, and research than we ever expected. What started as a simple question slowly turned into something much bigger. One lead led to another, one discovery raised ten new questions, and every time we thought we were getting closer, something forced us to reconsider everything.
There were countless dead ends. Information scattered across places we never thought to look. Details that had gone unnoticed, connections that didn't seem to make sense at first, and questions that nobody seemed to have a clear answer to.
We spent weeks digging deeper, trying to separate coincidence from something that could actually mean something. Some nights, we stayed up for hours chasing a single piece of information, convinced we were onto something, only to find ourselves back at square one a few hours later.
And of course, there were doubts.
Was all this research leading anywhere? Were we looking too far into things? Were we chasing something that was never meant to be found?
More than once, we questioned the entire journey. But every time we considered walking away, there was always one more detail that didn't sit right. One more connection worth investigating. One more reason to keep going.
So we kept digging.
And slowly, the pieces started coming together.
Things that once seemed unrelated began to make sense. The more we investigated, the harder it became to ignore what was taking shape in front of us. We went from asking ourselves whether there was anything worth pursuing to realizing that we might be standing closer to the answer than we had ever imagined.
We didn't want to come back just to make another announcement. We didn't want to give you empty promises or tell a story without doing the work to back it up.
We wanted to have something meaningful to share.
And after months of silence, research, setbacks, and more sleepless nights than we can count, it's finally time to tell you why we never gave up.
We believe we've found the One Piece.
We know how that sounds. We know what this means, and we know that words alone aren't enough.
That's why this isn't the end of the story. It's the beginning of the part we've been working towards all this time.
We've kept quiet for a reason.
Now, it's time to show you what we've found.

Earlier this year an official One Piece video had Author Eiichiro Oda write down the secret of the One Piece, it was then buried at the bottom of the sea. This Twitter account has nothing to do with that, and is just banking off the situation to promote their crypto.

Besides being nakedly racist and bigoted, this is just hilariously wrong on all levels.
I mean, Omar Yaghi won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry last year, and he won the Wolf Prize in 2018. And that's just one example.
He also said Arabs don't produce any literature. Last year's winner of the National Book Award was Lebanese writer and painter Rabih Alameddine. The winner in non-fiction? Egyptian-American journalist Omar El Akkad.

I really think everyone needs to pay attention to this cordinated campaign to delegimatize Muslim Americans - not just as citizens but as humans.
These increasingly hysterical attacks are a prelude to Republicans bringing us to a very, very dark place after the election.

“Arabs don’t produce literature” is really something you can only say if you’ve never had a moment’s contact with genuine civilization. A mind totally consumed by television and self-help books.

To claim there are no eye witnesses to the prophet is probably the most disingenuous and intellectually bankrupt thing you can do.
There is better historical attestation to the entire prophethood of the prophet Muhammad than there is to any single part of Jesus’ life.
