The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…
🤬 “Another Russian ballistic missile attack in several waves overnight, and once again, no warning from our partners,” — Zelensky
Russian forces launched 16 ballistic missiles and more than 200 drones of various types at Ukraine, including jet-powered Shahed drones.
The main targets were Kyiv and the surrounding region. Energy facilities, a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and residential buildings were also hit.
More than ten energy infrastructure facilities were damaged across Ukraine overnight, leaving at least 550,000 households without electricity.
Zelensky said Moscow has shown no willingness to take even the slightest steps toward de-escalation, let alone ending the war.
“When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine’s air defense are blocked, while Russia receives sanctions relief or delays, this unfortunately means that our partners are denying reality,” the Ukrainian president stressed.

SpaceX has introduced speed limits for military Starlink terminals
According to Ukrainian presidential adviser Serhii Beskrestnov, the limit is around 161 km/h. Ukrainian troops were not warned in advance, disrupting some operations.
Beskrestnov believes the decision may be related to the current political situation.
Meanwhile, volunteer Serhii Sternenko reported that the connection starts dropping at speeds of just 60–70 km/h.

Since the attack on the Russian data centre. The traffic for the ‘patriot party’ is mysteriously off a cliff

If confirmed, this is telling: Russian data centres get hit, and online activity around AfD suddenly plummets. 📉
So much talk about German patriotism… then the connection from Russia goes down. 🤔🇷🇺

After a series of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian data centers over the last 4 days, 78% of Yandex Cloud’s network stopped responding to outside connections.
The data from IODA shows a massive interruption to the Russian internet giant's system.
☄️ Yandex services go down across several countries: After drone strikes on its data centers, the company invokes force majeure
Over the past few days, Ukrainian drones have struck three Yandex data centers. The latest attack targeted a facility in Vladimir, Russia.
And the digital detox wasn't limited to Russia. Users in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Serbia are reporting widespread outages affecting the company's services.
🚕 People are having trouble booking taxis, ordering food, and paying for purchases. Disruptions have been reported across Yandex Go, Yandex Music, Yandex Disk, Yandex Pay, search, and Alice-powered smart home devices.
Users are also reporting problems with third-party services, including Lamoda, Vkusno i Tochka, and Magnit.
But here's the funniest part: Yandex has suddenly added drone attacks to its list of force majeure events, which could exempt the company from liability for failing to meet its obligations. 🤡
Apparently, the consequences of war count as circumstances beyond anyone's control.
At least when they affect your own business.
🎉 Yandex hit for the second time in two days — shares plunge as data centers go offline
The Russian tech giant has reported another drone attack, this time targeting a data center in the Kaluga region.
According to Reuters, several modules at the facility were completely disabled. The company has warned of possible disruptions to some of its services.
A day earlier, a drone struck a Yandex data center in the Ryazan region, which houses two of the company's three supercomputers used for artificial intelligence development.
The strike reportedly sparked a fire and forced the facility to shut down. Yandex is still assessing the damage and remains uncertain whether the equipment can be restored.
📉 Yandex shares also took a hit. On October 8, the stock fell by as much as 3.4%, with reports of declines reaching 4.2% on October 9.
The attacks have raised fresh concerns about the vulnerability of Russia's technology infrastructure.
