Lord, You are my rescue
I put my hope In You
Lord, You are my Savior
I will trust and will not fear
You give me strength
When I put my hope in You
You give me strength
Lord, I put my hope You

OK, that’s fine. But when the imperfect Republicans repeatedly refuse to do the job they were elected for, they shouldn’t act shocked when people don’t want to turn out to vote for them again. Not saying I support not voting. I’m saying Republicans bear responsibility for it.
When I came across this, at first, I noticed the sadness; but after a bit of fresh kindness, and by the time I left, the joy had broken through.

Join us in praying for Albanian listeners
Hello Christopher,
When I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. —Micah 7:8
There’s something special about hearing God’s Word in your own language—especially when you’re living far from home.
That’s true for Lindita, who lives in Italy but listens each day in her native Albanian.
Lindita’s Story
“I have been sick all my life and live with an incurable disease. It isn’t easy to bear, but God has sustained me through all these years of suffering. I am grateful to be alive and to worship the Lord who has kept me.
I listen to you every day. Although I live in Italy, I love hearing the Word of God in my native language. I’m so happy that God has been part of my life and has made me an overcomer even in the darkest times of my life. I have faced my disease with strength and dignity because I am a daughter of the Most High.
I greatly enjoy the teachings of THRU the BIBLE. This program teaches the fundamentals of our faith. I’ve learned so much, and I’m very happy the Word of God is shared with so much truth. Through this program, I’m reminded once again that Jesus is the center of my life, and all hope is in Him.”
There are some things we pray that God will change, and there are others we may be asked to carry for a very long time. Either way, as Lindita reminds us, our hope doesn’t depend on our circumstances. We can keep looking to Jesus Christ, trusting Him for what we need.
Perhaps you need that truth right now. Whatever you’re carrying, may God’s Word meet you there and turn your eyes toward Him. May it also remind you of who you are because you belong to Him. We don’t face our hardest days as strangers to God, but as His own—known, loved, and held by Him. Let’s thank Him that depending on Jesus isn’t weakness—it’s where our strength is found.
Father, for those carrying burdens that won’t easily go away, give strength for today. Use Your Word in Albanian to reach hearts across Europe and point them to Jesus. In His name, amen.
God bless you,

DEEP TRUTH
He never saves a heart He doesn't also claim. The day He made us His, He set us apart.
