To say we had a great time at this year’s Shop with a Cop would be an understatement. So many great kids and such a great holiday event. Participating warms your heart and bring the true meaning of the holidays into focus. Thanks for your support. #united4youth @star_pal

We had a blast working as #Santa's Helpers during @STAR_PAL Shop with a Cop over the weekend. The holiday tradition pairs @SDSheriff Deputies and officers with 300 students across the county for a visit to @SeaWorld and a $200 @target shopping spree. bit.ly/3UBla6W

These students never stop giving. Veteran Mentors Angelica and Dan worked with youth from the @STAR_PAL program in San Diego to complete an #OperationLegacy service project on #MLKDay. Students filled bags with hygiene products for young girls coming out of a juvenile facility.

we were able to find families who could use a little help. @STAR_PAL wrote checks directly to the utility companies & to pay rent. In addition, food, toys, strollers, school supplies, scooters & clothing were delivered to over 100 families. We ♥️ our community. #OneTeamOneMission

We have deep wounds in our nation, and we can start the healing here. Some in the community have been concerned about SDPD’s use of carotid restraints. I hear you. @ChiefNisleit hears you. @GGomezD9 and @CD4Monica have advocated for you. This technique will end immediately. – at California, USA
