With our cameras and signs down and 12 inches of snow expected before noon, here’s an artistic rendering of what to expect on Snoqualmie Pass this morning.
Our cameras & signs are down due to a power outage & the forecast is calling for 12 inches (4 inches per hour). It's going to be a challenging drive today. PLEASE slow down & have traction tires! @wspd6pio, @wspd2pio are enforcing chain requirements - $500 if not chaining up.

Parker Valby becomes just the second women’s long distance runner to win the Bowerman. Jenny Simpson, who won the inaugural Bowerman in 2009, is the only other.
The moment @parker_valby became the 2024 @thebowerman women's winner. 🐊 @GatorsTF

Kenya's Ruth Chepngetich beat all but two American men at the 2024 Chicago Marathon – CJ Albertson and Zach Panning. According to the unofficial results, she's 11th overall among all of the men and women in the race with her 2:09:57 world record run. Just wow. #ChicagoMarathon

Probably the only article you'll read that features the Battle of Trafalgar, steeplechase, and my 3-year-old niece
A feature on Lizzie Bird, who is headed for Paris to run the Olympic 3,000-meter steeplechase for the second time. Oh, she also did law school in 2.5 years and has lived all over the world. @PrincetonTrack goprincetontigers.com/news/2…
