Roe was still in place and I had to fly to another state. After I had already driven to one state and was ONE DAY too far along because of gestational limits. IT SHOULD BE ON DEMAND!!!!! Most people can’t afford what I was able to do!
My dad died from complications relating to alcohol abuse when I was 29, but my step dad got sober when I was 16. He called me tonight to say that he’s accepting his 20 year chip this week and wants me to be there for it. This is… maybe the most bittersweet I’ve ever felt.
