Last week I was in Alaska with my family and took the week to give a slow, careful read to this collection of 40 George Herbert poems. It really stirred my soul and ministered to me.
Major thanks to @stephenwitmer1 and @crossway for this one. I highly recommend it.
Here's my case for why we ought to read more poetry! What do you think? Do you buy it?

It was a privilege to speak with my friend @RebeccMcLaugh about poetry, ministry, George Herbert, and my new book In All Things Thee to See. Should we read poetry? Bet you can't guess my answer...

I had a fun time talking with Matt Tully of @crossway about George Herbert. I know you may be reluctant about poetry. Try just a few of George's poems and you may change your mind as your soul is shepherded.
