His central thesis, that he has spent years on this website and his Substack advocating for, is that Americans should move out of large metropolitan areas and move to abandoned, struggling, rural towns to buy dilapidated falling apart houses for $30,000. He told us that young families moving to these areas would revive the areas, that there would be "rural renewal"
